I don't recall the name, but it was eggs, bacon, half order of biscuits and gravy, and toast. I loved the toast. Texas toast, browned on the griddle. My bacon was crispy upon request. The biscuit wasn't my fav, it was a bit chewy. And I prefer my scrambled eggs on the less done side, but I get that isn't for everyone. On the sign outside, potato soup was the special of the day, so I got a cup to go. To my surprise it also included a side salad or grilled cheese. I went in with the salad and both were great! (Added my now croutons) A couple days later I stopped in for lunch and decided on a bacon cheese burger and fries. I loved it. The burger was a decent size, hot and juicy. The fries were crispy, which is my preference. Great ranch to dip! I had the same server both days and she was fabulous(I think her name started with an E). I definitely recommend stoping by if you're in the area! It's homey with comfy seating.

The fried chicken takes 25 minutes to cook. Just walk in the door and order it first thing. It's worth the wait- better than all the other places. Chatted up the chef- he takes obvious pride in his work. Most items are from scratch and the specials are great. We'll be back on our next trip to beautiful Caledonia.
