While the flowers were beautiful, my mom called and ordered dark purple corsages for my prom. She had a lengthy conversation with the lady, where she specified dark purple and that they would be sprayed. We came to pick them up today only to see magenta (or at least a very pinky purple) corsages. When we told the lady, yet again, that we wanted dark purple she said that those flowers were the only purple ones that the place could get and they couldn't spray the flowers at all. She then debated with us about how the color we wanted was lavender and not dark purple, and told us that we should have sent a picture when we ordered it because they're wasting time and product. Given the amount of clarification my mom made through the phone, it was clear that they couldn't do what we wanted, but accepted the order anyways despite insisting that they could. A little bit of a complicated story but here goes. My brother in law recently got married. The woman he married comes from Oregon and he lives on Tampa. She moved to Tampa, but two weeks after arriving in Tampa and marrying my brother in law, her mom passed. So my wife wants to send a fruit basket from us and her siblings here in the Northeat. The flowers were delivered and left on my porch but were fresh . The problem was that they did not have the flowers that my sister ordered. The flowers she ordered were higher end flowers and they substituted with almost all filler flowers. This arrangement was pretty but MUCH less the value then what was purchased. Was very disappointed. We called teleflora and got a complete refund. They should have completed the order at the same price point. I chose this florist from their reviews. I called them directly (I live out of state). I requested that the flowers be fresh and they said that would not be a problem that they always use only fresh flowers. The recipient sent me a picture and the arrangement was larger than I expected for the cost and it was beautiful.
