Thank you to all at Schoedinger Funeral Services for allowing our friends & family the opportunity to both grieve & celebrate without lifting a finger. The complementary coffee, pop, and cookies was a nice touch, and there was even a small sitting area there in the lobby away from the viewing areas. These people are predators. My mother had pre paid services and since she passed I have repeatedly…read morereceived mailings asking me personal information and that I will receive a free planning guide if I answer. Now e-mails are arriving trying to sell me services. EVERY correspondence claims I have shown interest. I have yet to receive a call from a Schoedinger family member as I was told I would the last time I complained, which doesn't surprise me since previous complaints haven't stopped the harassment. I keep demanding to see written proof that I requested information. It is a shame that they gave my information to some company when all I did was have my mother's funeral there a few months ago. Let the survivors RIP.

My son passed away July 9th 2016 and i was not told about my sons death my ex husband Scott Clapham…read morefrom Kentucky came to Columbus had a meeting with Matt Picklestein and they together tried to cut me out of the whole funeral. I found out 3 days later my son passed away i believe if i had not found out thru a friend that Schoedenger and Mr Clapham would had deceived me and continued on with his cremation without me (His Mother) even knowing. They together put an obituary in the Dispatch full of falsehoods when i asked Matt to change it or remove it he called my ex and they together decided to keep it up .i payed for a whole cremation of my son and was given no rights or respect from Schoedenger or Scott Clapham. This was my son i raised alone as mr. Clapham moved away and left his son years ago when George was 3 . So i write this review heart broken and so much hurt as i feel no mother should be treated the way i was by Matt picklestein of Schoedenger Funeral home and mr Scott E Clapham of Georgetown Kentucky. I am a respected person of the community and own a business in Dublin Ohio. Sincerely Georges Mother.

My elderly father passed away in his home recently and Schoedinger Worthington was called…read more I don't know the name of the man and woman who came to take my Dads body, but they were incredibly gentle and respectful with my stunned and grieving elderly mother ...And with my father's body. Later we planned services with Todd Hurley. It had been many years since I have been involved in planning a funeral and I was shocked by how many details Todd readily handled for us. He made a very painful and overwhelming time so much easier and was always readily accessible for our questions and concerns. I cannot say enough good things about Todd and Schoedinger Worthington.

His negligence when operating the new video equipment (that he received no training on) resulted in no video being provided to me. Schoedinger funeral services did not train their employees properly and Craig Hungler lied to me about the fact that he was the reason for the video malfunction. Irresponsible actions like this should be enough to steer you away. No formal apology was ever given, no remorse by Schoedinger funeral home and zero accountability for their actions. They will say they had no transaction with me but I have a legal document from Schoedinger that I had to sign prior to my son's service. Reprehensible behavior on part of Kevin Schoedinger and his staff! Ironic that the response is that there is audio of my sons service and the first I am hearing of this is 189 days after his death. How rude to not offer me this or even tell me about it sooner. I text Kevin and asked for the audio after his response, then a few days later I emailed Robert and got no response. Then I received the response in the picture. Why would I say no and although I've documented all communication with them they have not shown me where I supposedly declined audio of the service. They now don't have the supposed audio. Very convenient in my opinion! I will own up to sending a nasty text back after the picture posted. It was definitely deserved after my patience with their ignorance.

They were very professional, efficient, dedicated, and caring. The funeral director, the limo driver, the office staff, even the motorcade security all took this task as if it were their own family. That is how they made me feel and that was my experience with the Diehl-Whittaker team. They strove for excellence and they made us feel like family. We are grateful to Diehl-Whittaker for the care and expertise they lent in facilitating this day for our dear departed Father.

I think it's awful funny that after the complaint on yelp and them trying to get the comment resented ,all of a sudden they're open to have at least 50 people to attend funerals of loved ones and family members. Since Mc Nabb went out of business, our family has used Diehl-Whittier on a regular basis. The buck STOPS here, I will never endorse their services for anyone that I care about. We come from a very large and extended family. when asked where do you want your loved one to go it's Definitely not Diehl Whittaker. I truly feel that they are insensitive to peoples feelings, they arein a business to give the deceased a proper burial or cremation but they need to remember to have empathy and compassion for the family. It's not all about the money and that's what it seems like what happened with my brother. You are in the business to bury humans and not treat people if they were a cat ,dog ,bird whatever. The Bible says I must forgive in order for my heavenly father forgive me. I forgive the staff of Diehl Whitaker and I will not call names, you know who you are. As for using your service or recommending your service again I (we) choose NOT to. There are many other funeral homes in the Columbus area. Maybe some sensitivity classes would be warranted and some additional training. Thank you Karla Brown
