He was polite, respectful, and professional and sent me a refund check with next-day delivery! I think I might be using them again after all ;o) Unprofessional, insincere and overpriced!!! I called them 2 days ago after goggling' Plumbers in Oxford, MS'. Their link/website said that they give free estimates. When I called, I asked the person on the phone about that and she said that there was a $95 charge for them to come out and look at what needs fixing and give an estimate. I said, "Well then you shouldn't say that you give free estimates because people HAVE to pay $95 for them". She said, yes, BUT if you decide to go ahead with the repair, you don't have to pay for it, you just have to pay for the cost of the repair (parts and labor). We booked an appointment for today (Thursday 04/05) at 9:30 am. I had to stay home from work so I could be at home. I waited and waited and waited... finally at 11:30 I gave them a call. The receptionist informed me that the person who was supposed to come got sick. The manager was supposed to call me but obviously, they didn't! Then we rescheduled for Monday, meaning that I had to stay home from work an additional day, but she also said that if a worker finishes early with another job, she'd send them over. I got a call 2-3 hours later telling me that someone was on their way. The guy (who didn't look more than 18!) showed up 1 1/2 later. He upfront told me that he was charging me $95 + $200 for parts and labor. I told him that that's not what the person on the phone told me, but he insisted that he would have to charge me the $95 regardless. I called the company back and they insisted that I didn't understand them correctly and that they have to charge the fee, what she meant was that if he came in for an estimate and left and came back, then they wouldn't have to charge me $95 AGAIN! I mean, I have to be pretty stupid not to understand such a huge difference between what she told me the first time and what she told me the second time! He was there less than/about 10 minutes, charged me $316 and that was that! When I went back to their website, I also saw that they had a $50 promo for April, which they DID NOT APPLY!!! Such a rib off!! I should have checked the reviews from Yelp and not their website, because they only have the good ones on their website! I hate how they kept twisting the things they were telling me and the false advertising!
