Once she unhitched it, she was not able to get it rehitched herself. She brought her issues to the dealer and they will not make it right. Worse service department on the planet. After two and a half hours for them to install a weight distribution hitch I told them I couldn't wait any longer. Which was noted before I came to take delivery of the travel trailer. They assured me it would take no longer than 2 hours. They needed a part (reducer 3" to 2") from the auto parts two miles away. After I told them I had to leave due to work we walked back to service to get my truck. There lay the reducer at my truck. They just decided the sale was final and I wasn't so important anymore. Word to the wise dealing with Rv connections. DO NOT sign any paperwork until your service work is complete. The sales lady was amazing however. Buyer be ware!!! read more

My wife and I purchased our new travel trailer from RV Connections after a horrible experience at Camping World whose pushy salesmen kept pushing us to "run the numbers" when all we wanted to do was find the right RV for us. At RV connections, Tonya was more interested in finding us an RV that met our needs and budget. When the existing inventory didn't include the camper we saw online, she coordinated with the general manager to order it for us without obligation. Who does that??? Sure enough, the Rockwood Mini-Lite, half-ton towable with 2 slides was the perfect RV for us. I cannot recommend Tonya and RV Connections highly enough. RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY From RV Connections. I recently bought my camper for the "Forever Warranty" service. I was contacted by the service techician and was told that there was an issue with the propane tank prohibiting them from performing the leak down test. The technician reported that the tank could not be turned off completely and that a replacement tank would be required. As I have several extra 20lb tanks at the house I declined another tank. As a result the technician disconnected the tank and capped off both ends. Upon picking up the unit I tried to turn off the tank and the valve would not budge. By habit I then tried opening the tank and the tank did open and I felt the line pressurize. The fact that I could tell that there was an increase in the pressure of the capped off line when I opened the valve on the propane tank tells me that there is a good chance it was closed completely or the line would already have been pressurized. So before leaving I went back in and talked to the service rep and told him what I had done and my conclusion that because I could feel the hose pressurize when I opened the valve that it should mean that the tank valve was in fact completely closed. The rep jumped straight to saying that their facility does not try to cheat people. I thought that was kind of odd, like they get told that a lot. I expected something like hey we will come out and take a look really quick but that did not happen he went from there to all of their guys are propane gas certified. I do not know what it takes to get that. It could be an extensive ammount of training or it could be a 1 hour video. I got it home and removed the cap from the tank end and did not perceive any noticeable release of gas. I opened the valve, gas came out, close the valve, gas stopped. I capped off the hose with my finger and felt no pressure against my finger. I called the facility and talked to the service manager and explained to him everything I had observed and his reply was that I could not possibly detect a leak that way, I needed a propane leak detector. I relayed to him an experience last year with their facility where the technician just did not know how to diagnose a simple electrical issue with my solar charge controller. They diagnosed it as a faulty controller, replaced the controller, and told me to come pick it up. Upon picking it up I found it was still inoperative. It was not hard to do so, just connect to it with the app and see that it still read 0 watts coming from the panels. My background is IT support for the DoD so I know how to troubleshoot, and have been around boats A LONG time troubleshooting 12V systems on pleasure and commercial vessels. I got in there myself with a voltmeter, disconnected the 2 wires coming from the solar panels and found that the positive and negative wires were swapped. Once I connected them to the controller correctly the app showed voltage coming from the panels. Easy, and quick. Had the unit not been only months old I would have just done it myself from the beginning but thought why do it myself when it is under warranty. I told him all that to explain why I do not have confidence with the guys in the back. Still no offer to help remedy the current situation. I then put a balloon on the end of the propane line on 7/8 and took a picture of it. The next day I went out and looked and there was no perceivable change in the balloon. To help make sure that no gas was escaping I put a zip tie on tightly to ensure a good seal (Pic attached). I went out again 7/19 and balloon is still about the same. The fact that it is not larger further supports my conclusion that there is nothing keeping the propane tank from closing completely. That leaves me with three options: 1. The technician requires additional training. 2. The technician lied about the tank being faulty because he wants to boost his numbers. 3. The technician lied about the tank being faulty because he feels pressure from upstream to boost sales numbers. Upon researching the "Forever Warranty" I found that the following is covered by that warranty "Gas regulators, gas tanks, gas valves, tank gauges, and LP lines and fittings" (https://us.portfolioco.com/rv-warranty-forever#coverage) . I contacted them and while they did confirm it should be covered they could not find a record of my trailer at all even though I purchased it new from RV Connections you and have paperwork saying it comes with that warranty. It looks like they did not file the paperwork when we purchased the unit. In conclusion it appears that your technician said there was a problem when there was not (failure in the technician department), and then the service rep tried to charge us for an item that was covered by a warranty we were supposed to have (failure of the service department) and the dealership never filed paperwork on (failure of the sales/financing department). Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced! I made an appointment to have two factory recalls performed and to have my Onan repaired, I took my RV in on the date they designated and dropped off. I should have known there was going to be issues when I had to sign that RV Connections was not going to be responsible for my batteries, I ask the service coordinator to please not drain my batteries, he assured me they wouldn't. Nine days later I received a call from RV Connections wanting to know if I had picked up my motor home as they couldn't find it or the keys. I assured them I left it there and saw one of their employees drive it to the rear while I was waiting on my ride the day I dropped it off. Two days later I drove to RV Connections to see if they found my rv, they assured me they had found it with the keys in the RV (how unprofessional can a service center be)!! Four days later I get a call telling me the recalls were completed and they had found my Onan wouldn't start because of varnish in the carb and fuel lines and it would cost $2400.00 to repair (not one word about my batteries being ruined), part of the cost entailed changing the oil and filter and adding sightron to the fuel, I instructed them to do not change the oil and filter as I had performed that task myself with only two hours run time since I serviced the unit and I filled the fuel tank (and added sightron) the morning I brought the unit to them. He said no problem and said he would delete those items from my bill. Two days later I get a call saying my RV was ready and I owed them $2,697.06 and by the way my batteries were all dead, both coach and chassis. I went up to pick up my RV and they had jumped the chassis battery, had it running and setting (did not bother to lock the engine access doors) for me to pick up, the service coordinator noticed the doors weren't fastened and locked them. Upon reading the Onan techs report, they found the batteries were dead when the finally found my RV. My chassis battery and coach batteries fine when I took the unit in, we had just returned from a trip mid October and my unit is parked inside plugged in to 50 Amp service with batteries continually float charged. My result, I had to replace $605.00 worth of batteries due to RV Connections pure negligence or terrible unprofessional performance, which ever is appropriate. If you are needing RV service, drive anywhere just do not take your RV to RV Connections in Panama City. You will be way ahead to use any other business. read more

The generator on my 2017 Winnebago Navion wouldn't start and I got tired of messing with it, so I brought it in to RV Connections. Cody was super polite and friendly when he explained the diagnostic charges to me. He also told me it would be awhile before they could get to my RV. He called days later and explained the remote touch pad had gone bad and they were having a problem getting a new one. Although they had my RV for a month waiting for parts, Cody gave me regular updates apologizing for the delays. When he called and said the part was finally in and my RV was ready to go, I was stoked. A hurricane was headed our way and I was counting on the RV as my backup plan. It wasn't fast service, but it was just in time! Besides, the professional and courteous service I got from Cody made up for the wait. (He even gave me a military discount.) I was assisted by Shawn (the tech) he went above and beyond my expectations. Actually, everyone in that store was exceptional but he really saved the day for me. I was just starting a 5000 mile trip when one of the fittings on my water heater broke. I went to several places before I found this RV Center. I was really running out of options but the guy that help me at the desk wasn't giving up which I really appreciated. I was pretty sure I knew what I needed but Shawn set me straight. I was told appointments were two weeks or more out and I was supposed to leave for my trip tomorrow which I told Shawn and he said well just a minute and went out to look at it. Avoid their service dept. Stopped by and showed Service Advisor Roy pics of our slide topper so we can schedule an actual time to replace the fabric since we are full timers. He rolled his eyes at me as he really wanted me to drive it in so they could look at it. It is just the fabric and I had pics of the tape measure against the RV so he had all of the sizes. He told me to come in ay 8am 2 days later and they could do the job right away since we live in it. On the day we were waiting for him at 8am. He shows up right on the hour and tells us that they have a little work to complete and they will get "all hands on it". I insist to keep the gen running or plug it in as there is insulin in the fridge. We come back at 1:30 and see the RV in the back of the lot, not plugged in and our gen off, not work being done. I go in and ask for Roy and they go find him. He does some checking which takes about 10 mins and them comes walking in with another man sho is telling him that if a time is promised the back shop needs to know. Roy looks at me and states we are not going to get to it today. I ask for my keys. As the rig is being brought around he attempts a half a** apology and I state my online reviews will include the exact story. He then suggests I bring it back another day. I state no way. 30 mins later a Service manager calls me and tells me the fabric just arrived and if I brought it back they would get on it right away. I inform him that Roy should have been properly communicating all along and we could have schedule a better time but no after this they would not get our business. Again we all have cell phones so just be honest. He should have stated that they did not have the fabric the day before or that morning if they really didn't have it. It looks more like they just didn't want to have the bad review so they tried to get me to come back to avoid it. read more

the service department has had my motor home for almost 4 weeks now and this is crazy, for a quick ineption every year just to keep the road side service. Also you should be able to bring it in when they are ready to work on it, not holding it for three weeks and doing nothing on it. I purchased the motorhome so I can use it, not setting in the dealer ship for no reason. They did finally get it inspected and lubicated the one slide, Everything looks great, Hopefully next year they have more help and it will not take so long, I feel they do do a good job on what they do. read more

I don't think I've ever written a bad review before. But I feel inclined to warn others. Our story is long, but the short of it is that they are quick to sell you an RV (with an IOU to fix what's wrong with a BRAND NEW camper), but slow to fulfill their promises. They don't keep employees very long, so no one is really invested in your particular experience. We went twice to pick up our camper from service work, only to find it in worse condition than when we dropped it off. LITERALLY, they broke several things on the camper. We let them know several times we were driving 5 hours one way to pick it up. They couldn't be bothered to do a walk through before we came. So we waited an hour for them to half @$$ fix what THEY broke. The manager could barely muster an apology. The rep we had been corresponding with didnt even feel it appropriate to come communicate with us after the fact. If I could go back in time, I'd most certainly buy from a dealer that takes pride in their work. read more

I will say if you are going to buy from RV Connections go to Panama City and ask for Carl. We started at Dothan and let's just say that location led us down the wrong path, then lied right in front of me, but Panama City honored everything and made it right. Panama City does believe in taking care of the customer. So why four stars and not five, well first the Dothan issue was really frustrating and the the delivery took seven hours. They were very apologetic and admitted that mistakes were made, but the team there is a bunch of good people it was just a bad day. Would I buy from them again? Absolutely. Very friendly staff! We where helped by Scott Norman he was very helpful and showed us many great used and new RV's. He was very knowledgeable, and everything he showed us had a great price! We didn't feel pressured to buy or like he was just trying to sell us anything. We felt he was truly trying to help us make the best choice for us. Please allow me to explain: As snowbirds from New Hampshire, our RV is our winter home. While getting ready to leave Pensacola, FL, to visit friends in Panama City, FL, we encountered a problem that wouldn't allow us to dump our grey water tank! Unable to find any RV Dealership, or mobile tech, willing to assist us in Pensacola, we were stuck. We reached out to our friends, to see if there were any customer focused RV dealerships in Panama City. Without hesitation, our friend Jim recommended RV Connections. I immediately contacted their service manager Gary, who said to bring it by, and they would take a look at it. What happened next was almost miraculous! We stopped by on Saturday morning and explained our situation to Gary. He and his tech Shawn looked at the RV, explained what might be causing the problem, and then we discussed possible solutions. We then left the RV with them, and spent the next hour or so looking at their new inventory with Trey. He was a very knowledgable and helpful young man, answering all our questions in a very polite and professional manner. Shortly after leaving the dealership, we received a call from Shawn with his diagnosis. We agreed to the repair, and by lunchtime the repair was complete, and we returned to pick up our seasonal home. You may get good customer service when they sell you an RV, but don't expect it if you need a repair! They don't make appointments, they expect you to just drop it off and leave it till they get to it...and I was told they have a month and a half work in the shop. Are you really going to spend $1000's on an RV and then just park it on their lot for that long, until they get to it? Who does that? Took motor home there for an a/c issue. Three nights in a hotel, 65.00 in fuel and 300.00 in diagnosis later they say it must be the site. My site has 50 amps and my coach has a power management system with power monitoring. Guess what there is plenty of power at the site and my a/c still runs for a minute and shuts off and then back on in 5 minutes. NOT THE SITE Called a mobile RV repair company and they determined in a about 30 minutes that both A/C units need to be replaced. I never realized that a mobile repairman would offer the best repair solution. read more

When buying an RV locally you really only have two choices. RV connections was the best selection that we could have made. Our sales person was Joey and he was extremely helpful and had a lot of patience with us. We have never bought an RV before and we had tons of questions, plus add in fighting with our insurance company over loss of use money to buy the rv. It was a long road, but Joey stuck with us from start to finish. We love our new RV and it has been very spacious and comfortable. The reason for the four stars and not five is due to the service department. We are still waiting for the stairs for the RV that should of been installed before we took delivery, but they ordered the wrong ones. It's really unfortunate to have to write such a terrible review, but I don't feel I have no choice. The service department is unethical and unprofessional. The first time we went to RV Connections was for warranty work on the factory installed generator in our 2017 Montana. We made the appointment and dropped off the rig. At the end of the day we were called and told that we had to leave the rig there because the guy who works on generators was on vacation. We were not living in the rig full time at that point, so we left it until he was back in (two weeks later). We specifically asked them to do no work until speaking with us (we don't use it much and were making a trip up North and could have gone to Keystone). They did not follow our instructions, and did the work anyway. When they told us, we were very displeased, and I let the service manager know just how unhappy we were. They did agree not to charge us for the work (the total turned out to be $49) but was not covered by the warranty. However, unbeknownst to us, they put a note on our account to refuse any further warranty work because "his wife yelled at our service manager". The second issue was that we made an appointment a month in advance to have our jacks tested for a leak. We called the day before the appointment to confirm the appointment. (We are full timers at this point, so taking our rig in for service can be complicated). After checking the rig in and leaving, we received a call that the service guy who specializes in this test left his tools at home (really? can this type of thing happen twice to the same people?) but, we could have it done the next day and stay there in our rig if we wanted to. When my husband said how displeased he was with this situation -- the woman told us, "well you're free to take it someplace else if you like, we actually have a note in our file to never do warranty work for you because your wife yelled at our service manager". I'm amazed that a professional company can be so sensitive to having someone express their displeasure with their mis-management. And how in the world could the same thing have happened twice? They must be so disorganized that they don't know what they're doing. I have no idea how the sales portion of the company works, based on the reviews here it sounds like they might be a little more well managed, but the service department seems to be poorly managed, poorly scheduled, overly sensitive and unethical. Oh, an BTW the original generator problem was not properly fixed so we ended up having Keystone happily fix the problem in 4 hours with smiles on their faces and free coffee. read more
