while waiting for my morning appointment in the lobby, I heard receptionist Ronda bad-mouthing the business and the business owner. she was telling someone over the phone that their weight loss medications which she's taking are not effective at all, saying she has not seen any results from them in the three months she's been on them. She also said that the diet program that Dr. Macomb, the bus owner, has developed is so unrealistic and out of touch. Ronda also candidly said that the business owner is an a***** and a bitter man who only cares about money and that no one who works there stays long. She then said that he is lucky to have her even work there. If an employee at this clinic is saying this and feels this way, I would go elsewhere for my weight loss treatments. If I were the business owner, I would investigate this and possibly fire this employee - she is not a good representative for your business especially since anyone in the lobby can hear and witness how unprofessional, out of line and rude she is. read more

RONDA is very disrespectful and has no customer service skills. got my name wrong on the chart and when I corrected her, she blamed me for my name. she had no patience answering any typical questions a new patient would ask. I'm a new patient and had my appointment last week. I don't want to come back every week for my shot and deal with this nasty, rude woman. you're better off going somewhere else. read more

I've been going to this facility for 3 months now. I used to see Gavino but he's never on time and not very supportive. Nora is amazing very supportive and compassionate. Today I had a 12:20pm appointment. I arrived 5 minutes early. Another client walked in about 5 minutes afterwards. She was seen first. Now I'm sitting here 20 minutes after my appointment. Nora came outside to apologize to me for Gavino running late. A few minutes later Gavino finally takes me be 12:45pm. 25 minutes past my appointment. Did not apologize for running late. Starting asking me questions about my BP I said well it might be higher right now as I'm a little upset I've been waiting so long. He replied you're appointment is booked until 1pm ? Ok it's still 12:45pm and I was scheduled for 12:20?? He apparently didn't like my response as he opened the door and demanded I leave. You're running 25 minutes late and then kick me out !! I'll will never return here or recommend them! Completely rude and unprofessional! I wasn't the one who was late. I was on time. When I asked to speak with the office manager , he replied I am the manager . I replied that's terrible because you're completely unprofessional! When I asked to speak with Nora he told me she was at lunch and walked into there storage room to hide. read more

Be very careful using this spa. Save all receipts. I purchased a number of mic shots while they were on sale. At the time, I was assured they had no expiration date. They switched computer systems and lost my sale and the accounting of the shots I already received. I lose about half of my shots. Almost $150.00. Angel, the front desk manager was very condescending, hung up on me when I asked her to verify what she shows in her current computer system, did not call back as promised, did not return messages and had a hard time getting the facts straight. Completely unorganized and unprofessional place of business. I paid up front for a medication package deal and was given half of it on my initial visit. I was told to come back after a month or so to collect the rest. Apparently nothing was documented of our arrangement and there was a whole new staff. The doctor/owner was one room over and would not confront with me about fixing me as the customer and making things right. Poor customer service and I would absolutely not recommend. This review is not about the Corona Virus and the effects it has had on this business. This review is about the BUSINESS, ITSELF. As a new patient, living on a teacher's salary, not only was there misrepresentation (with respect to the services offered), but there was also a lack of respect for my time and faulty equipment - which essentially resulted in a lack of accurate and PERTINENT information for me - as a prospective NEW client. I had an appointment as a new client, and presented them with all of my completed paperwork, upon my arrival. My appointment was at 11:00am and I arrived at 10:55am. I waited until 11:30am...and no one provided me with any explanation for the delay. So I rescheduled. I came back three days later at 8:00am. I was weighed once...and I knew the scale was not accurate. I was weighed again, a few minutes later (as this piece of equipment also DID NOT PRINT OUT my results, nor did it give me my muscle mass, with respect to weight index). This time, I had dropped 2 pounds, in 10 seconds...and the equipment still did not print out my results, nor provide me with my muscle mass. I was then moved to another room that had a different type of scale...and weighed a THIRD time. I lost another pound in approximately 2 minutes. Hhmmmm??? Then I was given the "prototypical" speech and hard copy, regarding what I could and could eat in the days to follow and a rationale. Fine. Then I was told about the "medications offered". It was as if the "Assistant/Nurse" was afraid to give me this information! Mind you, I was told on the phone that an initial visit and "prescription for Phentermine" was $125. After hearing the medication "pitch", I learned that one must return "once a week" for another week of medication, so the total cost was $300/month...and the point of that was to keep "ME" accountable! (It was apparent that the point was to keep this clinic PAID...as I had yet to meet the physician, I was given incorrect information on the phone, my weight fluctuated THREE TIMES in fifteen minutes and the information they guaranteed to provide was NOT provided - as they had faulty equipment!) Needless to say, I declined their services. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS! ie. What is the TOTAL cost for one month of "treatment and Phentermine medication...without any extras!!!" The cost will almost triple...and believe me...that's the "bare and inadequate minimum" cost! Look elsewhere... YIKES! read more

I started my adventure with RX WEIGHT LOSS SARASOTA in May, in just a little under two months I've lost 25 pounds, and being over 50 years old, that is saying something. The staff is friendly and appointments are flexible. As a medical professional I have a crazy schedule, so this was important to me. Angel makes sure I am able to get in when I have ability, and on short notice, she will make it happen. My first day I met Dr Ford, and my nutritionist. I received an exam, the program was reviewed and handouts given to me. My initial experience has been nothing short of wonderful, and I feel very supported and encouraged by the staff. To be fair, I would have given 5 star, however, since I've only been going a short time I will reserve until I reach my goal WT, and revisit this site for another review.
