Went to get a new key and fob for my truck. Over $300 for both and didn't even include programming. They wanted another $75 for that. Took the truck to their service center and they said it would be less than 30 minutes. It was well over that. Receptionist came back and said the fob wouldn't connect to the BCM computer, that I just purchased from THEM, and needed to bring it back the next day. No diagnostic code on dash or fault on my app. They wanted another $100 just to look at it. Found a locksmith in town and they had the fob programmed in less than 2 minutes. Took longer to tell them what the dealership said than it did for them to be done. Don't go here. Either their techs don't know what the hell they're doing or the business is out to rip people off. If I could put a negative review I would. Update: The receptionist texted me saying they still wanted the $75 for TRYING to program it. read more

I'm so disappointed in this dealership ryan chevrolet.my son bought a car from them he toke it to ryan chevrolet to have some work done because oil was going out everywhere.The car is under warranty it barely 2 years old they sent him a video back to my son that was fully boggess.they said that a extended wrench was in the car that cause the problem . well there is no way that it was what caused it and if it was then they should have been responsible for it.he has had transmission work done on it already and they left the wrench in it when they did transmission. they are the only dealership that he has taken it to be worked on . that's what they said caused his issue my son has warranty on the car . they sent this fake video of the wrench being the reason the oil went everywhere well no that is not possible it was the dealerships wrench . they showed a different malibu that wasn't his up on the lift they would not show him is car on lift. they charged my son over a thousand dollars to fix his car that they was responsible for . the wrench was theirs that they had left in there when they worked on his tranny.my son lost 2 and half weeks of lost wages approximately 5000 dollars and another 1000 to get his car back .my son car is under warranty.they should have not charge him a dime for the wrench was ryan chevrolets. they charged my son for parts that they didn't even replace.this dealership is burning people for money.!!!! read more

Ryan Chevrolet has been extremely helpful and responsive while dealing with a vehicle that I purchased from Corwin in Fargo. I purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe from Corwin and it didn't make it back to Minot and the check engine light and Traction could trip light came on. Kacey from Ryan has been especially helpful even calling car rental companies to see if they had a vehicle for me while mine was being fixed no thanks to Corwin. Dropped my car off again for the 5th time today to the service department. now dealing with Brad has been absolutely great. But the guy I brought my car into today first off acted like he had never seen me or my car before. literally had no idea who I was. I even called on the way... and my car has been in his shop the entire month of July... so I mean come on. Then he puts me in a bone dry Chevy spark as a loaner. I am a single father of two. Every time I've dropped my car off everyone there has seen me have to move my car seat over between the vehicles. There is absolutely no way you are going to put a car seat in the backseat and someone in the seat in front of it comfortably. This being the 5th time having to bring the car in you'd at least think he would have tried to at least make me comfortable or at least on an 1/8th of a tank. I genuinely believe the guys in the shop are trying to resolve the issue with the car. having to bring it back again and again is not the problem. Although putting gas in new vehicles over and over again is getting ridiculous. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. had work done on my wife's brand new vehicle and the next time she drove it the drive shaft fell out from under the vehicle. then they tried to blame us for it and the manager was incredibly rude did nothing to help and they weren't able to tow the vehicle back for 4 days. they only fessed up to their mistake after we involved our insurance company. now we needed new key fobs for her vehicle got 2 and they're charging 800 dollars for fobs plus programming and said it'd take 2 hours. this place is ridiculous bring your vehicle somewhere else. hope that service department manager got fired he's a real piece of work. read more

Robert is absolutely the most unprofessional person I ever met in my life. Get any other service rep if you HAVE to go here. 9 days before my truck was even looked at. They gave me a loaner and tried to pin damage on me as well. I know for sure it was already there and I mentioned it in my walkthrough and they never wrote it down. Or the other 2 markings on the vehicle. This place is disgusting and will treat you disgustingly. I applied for a job here months ago and they just told me they will not hire me. Vengeful and disgusting people throughout the entire building. Luckily for them I run my own business and am not in need of a job. I asked the service advisor to inspect a loose tail light on my truck, ended up being charged a $ 94 labor fee. The best part is that the mechanic couldn't fix the tail light. In other words, I was charged a $ 94 fee for trying. I definitely won't return to this place. read more

THIS REVIEW IS STRICTLY ABOUT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THE SALES STAFF WAS MORE THAN UNDERSTANDING (but unable to help). We recently took my wife's Chevy Equinox here for some warranty work. When we dropped it off, they informed us we couldn't have a rental unless we purchase an extended service contract. Which I understand, because those kinds of contracts DO in fact cover rentals. Not seeing the need for a rental, we would manage without for a day or so. It took 4 DAYS after we dropped it off just for them to call us and say, we are now going to look at it. At this point my wife and I were forced to get a rental on our own because they would not provide one. It then TOOK 9 MORE DAYS before they called us back and informed us that "your battery had low voltage, but its working now." When we went to pick it up, nobody bothered to tell us what exactly they did. We get in the vehicle to find out they did absolutely nothing. All of the issues the battery were causing were still happening, they did not reset the check engine light, and did nothing but waste our time. We now have 13 days of a rental car to pay for that was for nothing. I'd understand if they were actually replacing or ordering parts, or doing some form of work of any kind. But keeping it for 13 days to do no work what so ever is RIDICULOUS! Easily the most incompetent service department in Minot. We would rather drive an extra 100 miles to the next Chevy dealership that ever bring our car to them again. read more

Scheduled an appointment on Monday to get in at Friday for what seemed to be simple fix of the frost tab on back window and a new wiper mechanism replacement for a suburban. Told them over the phone on Monday I needed to have it repaired. I take it in on Friday, designated appointment time they stated, I sat and waited for 2.5 hours thinking they are fixing it. I go and ask about how much longer, 10 min later the guy comes to me with a quote... I brought it in to be fixed and even stated I am ready to fix this thing they made me wait for 2.5 hours to get a quote on what I had already been quoted on by them. Spoke with Tim the service manager who was less than qualified in my opinion to deal with people. I've been going to the Ryan dealership with our vehicles for a few years. This is the 2nd time in the last 8 months that our vehicles have had issued AFTER they took care of a warranty issue. 1st issue was in December of 2018 - my vehicle had a ticking noise and wouldn't increase speed or switch gears. (warranty issue) the speed/gear issue was taken care of but the ticking noise was never taken care of, in fact, the noise was LOUDER after my vehicle was seen. I did not want to take my vehicle back because at that visit they kept my vehicle for 2 weeks. I need my vehicle for work everyday so another 2 weeks without it wasn't something I wanted to sacrifice at that time. Now, I just deal with the ticking noise. 2nd issue was this passed week. I took my HUSBAND'S vehicle in because the breaks wouldn't work and the TPMS needed to be replaced. Breaks were fixed, TPMS was scheduled for a different repair date because they didn't have any in stock. So I picked up the vehicle until they did come in. Drove the vehicle through a car wash and then 75 miles home. Came home and left the vehicle in my driveway for a day. My husband goes to the gas station and there's no oil. He finds tools and bolts in the vehicle under the hood. He puts oil in the truck and it's leaking. So, I'm not sure what to do at this point. I want to get the issues with our vehicles fixed but in the same sense how can I ever trust another CHEVY garage with OUR CHEVY VEHICLES? They aren't trying to make anything better, they back up their mechanics first. I asked for it to be towed at their expense but they told me if it's covered under warranty, then I should call the warranty number to have it towed. Time to switch to a different model and service center altogether. read more

Then they pester me and my wife later about trading the vehicle in for something new stating "we looked your vehicle over and want to offer you a trade in allowance" The unwanted phone calls and emails are annoying and it seems like when you get close to paying it off they pick up in intensity. When I brought the vehicle in for the appointment, the problem was not occurring. Advisor said there were 11 error codes that said a part needed to be replaced. He was very dismissive of my concerns that it was something else. The part they put in would be guaranteed for a year, but if it came in again with the same problem but was something else, then there would be a charge.He also said, by the way you have something else wrong and for another $1000 we can fix it. I went to the dealership because the car is newer and low miles and wanted the repair to be on record. When picking up my car, I was behind someone who just purchased a car and was there to pick it up. They couldn't find it. When they gave me my keys, they didn't know where my car was but said it was "somewhere out that door". So I got to walk through a snowy parking lot to find my car and there were no paper mats in my car so that indicates to me they weren't careful to not get shop grime on my interior. read more
