He's been my dentist for at least 15 years, and I don't regret a minute spent in his dental care. He does what is necessary and provides sound advice regarding the options for any procedure. His wife, Sondra, staffs the front desk and has a great sense of humor (as does Dr. Stilts) and serves as a welcoming presence. His dental tech, Betty Gong, is a joy to talk with and is full of stories. She is a wizard with the high tech x-ray machine that is connected to the office computer and that provides an instant image for Dr. Stilts to review in determining what procedure is called for. The exam chair has a killer view of Morro Bay Harbor and the harbor entrance. That goes a long way towards making a visit a pleasant experience -- not the terror I recall as a child.
