I came to The Kid's Dentist because of a bad experience with my child's previous dentist. Dr. Yip determined that my child needed a tooth extracted along with some fillings and crowns. It was very overwhelming, the amount of work that needed to be done on such a young child, but Dr. Yip took the time to explain the reasoning behind the treatments and our options on how to proceed. One of the options was the use of general anesthesia and complete the treatment in one sitting while my child was sedated. At first, the use of general anesthesia on such a young child made me nervous. But, Dr. Yip took the time to explain that the risks were minimal and that the ability to get the treatment done in one sitting instead of a possible four would save my child from the "traumatic" experience of multiple trips, shots, and drilling. The entire process only took a few hours and my child recovered quickly. Dr. Yip even followed up with us, after hours, just to check on my child's recovery. The best part... my child still likes going to the dentist and isn't afraid to go see Dr. Yip. The use of general anesthesia was well worth it and I would recommend any parent to strongly consider it as an option for their child's treatment. I highly recommend The Kid's Dentist. Dr. Yip and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of, from start to finish. They truly care about their patients.

He went slow and easy, it took a few more seconds of his time to slowly press the plunger but he did it and never fealt that needle slide... He is so nice to visit, like seeing an old dear friend. I feel cared for and respected every time. I also got a deep cleaning from his equally caring hygenist.. I could not be more happy with my care by these people. What a fabulous office, everyone was amazing! Jaci started it off by being so kind and helpful when I called- I knew then that we had found a wonderful place. Dr Molly was so kind and did a great job on my teeth. I don't remember the assistant's name but she was amazing. We both had our teeth cleaned the following week and was so pleased with our hygienist- again I can't remember her name but amazing. You will not be disappointed for getting care here.

I'm in Salem now, but I happily make the drive up to Milwaukie twice a year. The care I receive there is that good! The office is clean and pleasantly decorated, with the current location having nice colors and high ceilings, conveying a expansive and open feel. I've always been able to find a place to park. They are checking temperatures at the door, as well as a quick health screening. Dr Walker is a delight. Personable, with great stories and insights, she instantly put me at ease the first time I met her. She has a great sense of humor too! I totally trust her dental care recommendations and advice. All the staff have always been kind and capable. They have helped me select good dental insurance and have always been impeccable with billing and appointment reminders. I highly recommend Dr Walker and her employees for superlative dental care with a wonderfully warm human touch!

I've called at 1pm, 4pm, 2pm, I leave voicemails and nobody ever calls me back. I've never had this problem before with other dentists, especially dentists that have high ratings online. For a dentist that has 4.9 stars on google, I expect a call back, or any level of communication, but unfortunately that's not how they work apparently.

The front staff have been wonderful to work with, hygienists are on point and consistently thorough without making the process painful. Dr Gregson is personable, a kind hearted person towards my family, and above all relatable when discussing teeth. My 8yo just had her tooth pulled pre-orthodontic treatment. She declined nitrous oxide, shed 0 tears and wished the appointment was longer. Dr Gregson walked her out to the koi pond to feed and watch the koi and turtles. I dread the day he retires.
