I looked around at several options and loved the idea of a Matterport tour. I also wanted additional options I could save and keep for the next time our unit is vacant and we need to find a new tenant. I contacted Ben and from our first phone conversation to sending me the completed files he impressed. Communication was flawless, he arrived exactly on time, completed work within the time frame given, and even sent me the completed files much earlier than discussed so I could send to prospective tenants ASAP. Fair enough - a handsome photo is a nice addition to the mantle or wall frame of loved ones.. The technical work done by the photographer is quite nice and serves Studio M well. However, their pricing policies and the expense of the images produced is EXCESSIVE. The portrait sitting charge is quite expensive, but my bone to pick is the additional cost beyond the sitting fee. These charges can add from 700 to several thousand dollars to the cost of multiple pictures or access to the digital files that make up the substance of ones sitting. Be advised as to what you are getting into. It's likely that you will initially be lulled into the romance of beginning to get the process started. Later when you get the proof copies, you will lean of the added cost of pictures. What do you do at that moment? Likely, it is to say "OK, I give up, how much is the damage?" This is similar to the car repair strategy where the exact costs of repair is unknown (to you) but when the engine is laying on the floor in pieces, the bad news is passed on to So, Make sure you know what you are getting into.
