Well, I have had enough and finally came back this evening to write the review and saw the one written by Paul F. from Milton and thought "wow, I'm not alone after all." I have had the same exact experience as Paul and feel the same way. It's like a dictatorship. Payson does not really seem to care about the swimming, just the money. This club has been a huge and expensive disappointment. My son LOVED swimming but not so much here. I'm looking elsewhere ... even if we have to land at the Y.

Her previous client was unhappy with her color, so instead of focusing on my appointment, the stylist kept going back and forth, working on that client's color while also cutting my hair. She completely ignored me, barely consulted with me, and kept insisting the haircut I wanted "wasn't that hard," as if I was making a big deal over nothing. The result was a terrible haircut that was not what I asked for at all. At first I thought I might be overreacting and tried to give it time, but months later my hair is still completely messed up and uneven from that cut. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially before such an important event. Terrible customer service and I would not return or recommend this salon

My husband was having a civilized conversation with a fellow member the day after the presidential election when suddenly the director of the fitness center broke in uninvited and launched into an unprovoked verbal attack based on false assumptions about his political views. After staying away for a year and a half, we recently considered rejoining because of a health need for specific classes that are not available elsewhwere. However, the management refused to speak to their employee about his bullying behavior or to mediate in any way. I would not recommend this club to anyone who expects to feel safe and respected.

I'm a disabled veteran and have certain accommodations that I'm learning how to ask for. I was worried it wasn't for me. But they reassured me I belong there and can benefit greatly. Taking the time to listen to someone is rare these days. But it's the difference between someone being just a data point vs a person for a company. Exceptional customer service is an art form. Cambridge Atlantis will not give partial refund although paid 14 months and used only 4 months of pool. And, Dedham 25 minutes from paid membership of Cambridge. Atlantis Cambridge unresponsive and I sent over 10 emails and 5 voicemails and no response with any form of refund as they closed Cambridge. Poor customer service not giving refund...

There just hasn't been a review of the Curtis Hall Community Center in quite a while, and I thought it would be helpful to update. I'm training for a triathlon and needed an affordable place to swim 1-2 times a week. I I've gone swimming here a couple of times and I'm very happy with the swimming facilities. The locker room is.. a locker room. It seems well maintained and clean, which is all I can really ask for. The showers do turn off approximately every 30 seconds or so, but it's not a huge problem. The pool is 25 yards, and there are three lanes. I've only been in the early morning, but the most people I've seen at the pool at one time is 9 (3 per lane) and that worked out just fine. The gentleman who works at the front desk in the morning is friendly, and very helpful. He allowed me to try out the pool a couple of times before joining, which was really nice. The cost to join is $30 a year and there is a $2 per use cost for the pool. However, you can buy a card that gives you 7 uses for $10 -- well worth it if you ask me. I have no problem paying to help to support a community center. I will take a look at the rest of the facility one day when I'm not in a rush to get to work.

The 5 acre park has a nice set of playground equipment and features a little league sized baseball diamond. There's also a very small "Free Little Library" outlet here. There is parking here for perhaps a dozen cars if they do so with care.
