He said it'd be done by Friday, or the following Monday at latest. I gave them TWO extra days and came in the following Wednesday, and he said it's not done, with a stern tone suggesting he didn't care. I told him it was supposed to be done by Monday, but he snapped back about some thing that he has kids and things change. And all I said was "well damn" and I was just gonna leave and call them another day. Then he suggested I take it elsewhere. I said I don't know where. He just handed it to me and said I was having an attitude... Of course as a customer who wasn't served as I was told, I was upset, but I highly doubt I had a bad attitude, actually to the contrary HE had this "who cares" stern attitude. So I highly suggest anyone to avoid them and go to Johnwell upholestry. Costed a tad more, but he actually had it done in 2 days, AND the guy is pretty nice! He's much more personal with customers too.

Doug discussed it over the phone and suggested my wife and I come in. We were impressed with the roomful of sample catalogues and the prices were reasonable. After the material arrived it was about two months until he was able to get to it. It took him a month or so to finish the work, and the results are excellent. There was a delay while more fabric was ordered due to flaws in the material sent, but only a week. He not only reupholstered the chair, he added a zipper into the headrest to allow us to adjust the amount of stuffing in it and added velcro flaps on the base of the back to ease access to the latches for removing the back off of the base. He's easy to work with, honest and very amicable. It's hard to find a good upholsterer and Doug is a gem.
