A note that I wrote on it reads "Pompous Asshat" I remember why. As I waited to bring my daughter in for an appointment, I listened to him rudely shoo away a man who showed up on time for his appointment. Cancelled because he didn't confirm the day before. Then, I was delayed for 40 minutes while listened to him order furniture for his new office. Just one of many pompous acts he pulled before we fired him. I see from other comments, this is his way. She was very attentive, gave me specific practical things to do when I felt like my emotions were getting away with me....things I still practice years later. She never tried to sway my opinions. I never felt negatively judged, her constructive criticism was loving and welcomed. I never felt forced to make any decisions. It felt very natural speaking with her and I looked forward to our sessions.

I went to her with my husband as we're expecting a new baby. She was very aggressive with booking and said all therapists are like this (i've been in counseling for 15 years). Should have been a sign. She never addressed the issues we brought up and instead pushed her methodology. She continued to insist all of our issues were related to me being an only child and 6 sessions in a row she only spoke to me about being an only child and praised herself for having more than 1 child- at one point telling me I no longer needed a relationship with my family at all. I was hurt, but wanted to continue therapy. We decided to take a break as our relationship was in a good spot and I told her we wanted to take off a little time to work on our skills and we just had a lot going on in our lives. She called and texted me consistently (like every 10-20 minutes) because I didn't want to reschedule immediately, insisting she didn't want to "book up". She would not let us take a break without saying we were giving up and would not allow us to get back to her about a date to schedule. She texted and called me and my husband over 20 times within a week of seeing her to get something on her books. She then twisted my husbands words against me and told me she was giving up on us. She clearly only wants to be paid and push her ideology. Do not see her.

The Dr. may be great, but I wouldn't waste my time on a place that doesn't prioritize someone in desperate need of help. Thanks for nothing.
