I would not recommend this office for mercury filling removal, crown work, or tooth extractions. It…read morehas been over a year, and every tooth he treated has required corrective work. This includes three crowns, as well as two teeth that were overfilled, leading to cracks and the need for additional crowns. He also advised extracting a tooth that previously had a root canal, after which I have experienced ongoing jaw and ear pain. While the front office staff are friendly, both the dentist and office manager handled my case unethically. They were aware that errors had been made but were evasive rather than transparent. As a result, I have spent over $10,000 on corrective treatment and follow-up visits. For anyone considering mercury filling removal, I would strongly urge caution. In my experience, the process caused more damage than benefit, and if you are asymptomatic, it may be best to leave fillings undisturbed. Some studies also suggest removal can increase mercury exposure rather than reduce it. One positive note is that he did successfully treat a cavitation that other dentists had been unable to diagnose. The office reimbursed a very small portion for his mistakes.

I recommended this practice to my fiancé because I had been going there for years and had always trusted them. He is new to the area, so he went alone for a routine exam and cleaning. After taking X-rays, which he described as extremely painful and the worst experience he has ever had at a dental office, they told him he had periodontal disease and tried to sell him a treatment plan costing approximately $2,500 out of pocket. What is especially concerning is that they did not verify his insurance coverage before presenting him with this expensive treatment. He contacted his insurance company, which told him the procedure would have been covered if it were actually necessary. He decided to get a second opinion, and the second dentist confirmed that he does NOT have periodontal disease and that his teeth are fine. I have also experienced repeated billing problems myself. The last two times I had a cleaning, I received a bill even though this practice is in-network with my insurance and has all of my insurance information. Each time, I have had to call the office and have them manually adjust the bill. I was told they have difficulty keeping dentists and that some of the dentists filling in are not in-network with my insurance. If that is the case, patients should be informed before treatment--not billed afterward and left to resolve the issue themselves. Overall, this has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I trusted this practice enough to recommend it to someone I care about, and unfortunately, I regret doing so. Patients deserve honest diagnoses, transparency about treatment costs, and accurate insurance billing.
