Dan kindly explained to me that when the car goes through the emission test the computer automatically calls through to Harrisburg. The phone call charge is not from the repair shop but it is a state law. Obviously, the other reviewer was not aware of this considering he assumed it was because he was in the shower. My overall experience was very good and it was a lot cheaper then when I went to the car dealership. I have recommended Dan's to my family and friends.

After a recent 50 minute drive the "Check Tires" light on the dash went on. The next day I called Burns and they were able to take a look at the tires the same day. I drove over, handed John the keys and he pulled it into his bay at the rear of the garage. He quickly checked each tire and found that all of them had low psi. He filled each to the proper pressure and was done in 5 minutes. He drove my vehicle around to the front and handed me the key. No charge. I gave him a small token of my appreciation which brought a smile to his face and a strong sincere handshake. It is these little things (not to mention the big ones) that make Burns Auto Repair indispensable to my family and the rest of the Newtown community.
