I visited Ryan's Meat Market this past week to buy some dog treats, so I haven't tried the human meats. I bought chicken feet and beef bones and both are loved by my dog. The gentleman (owner's son?) was very professional- cut up the bones for my small dog. I will return another day for people foods. read more

Looking for a place who made Andouille sausage that wasn't the usual Johnsonville or otherwise for a Mardi Gras party we were having. This sausage is critical to making a good gumbo. Somehow FL doesn't participate in good Cajun food. luckily we found Ryan's meat which makes a good Andouille, it cooks up nice and greases enough for a decent roux. I only went to Ryan's with this mission to find extraordinarily Andouille. It looks like they have other fine meats. It's essentially a hole in the wall place in a strip center somewhere and these places are always the best! read more

Horrible customer service, rancid smell brown rancid new your strip steaks and no hair net on that gross long red beard / goatee what ever it is. I'm pretty sure if your cutting meat to sell to the public you should have a hair net of some kind on beard hair that is hanging over the food you are preparing. As someone that stated he's been cutting meat his whole life, I think k he should k ow that. Didn't offer a replacement or refund and kept the steaks i paid $38.20 for. When I asked if he was going to replace the steaks or refund my money, he yelled NO HAVE A GOOD DAY. And kept.the rancid meat, not that I wanted those back..PRINCIPLE! read more

If you enjoy cooking and saving money, it's always nice to have a great independent butcher nearby. I bought one of Ryan's large "fresh pack" meat deals, and it kept us happily grilling all Summer. Their meats are excellent quality, and for me, even a notch above what is offered at Publix or other chains. A very small shop, they are as Covid-safe here as possible. Being a nerd, I did the "math" on the average price per pound of their meat deal, and the end result is that we basically received 6 filet mignons for free! That is definitely some tasty savings! Just 4 stars for now, as I have only been there twice, and sadly on the 2nd visit they were 100% out of all ground beef. I am looking forward to my next visit... read more

I wish I would of gone here sooner! My husband & I stopped by to pick up steaks. We talked to the staff & they were all friendly, had no problem answering questions! They gave us recommendations on a few snacks. We are so happy they did. They were wonderful. We will definitely be coming back. We got all the food my my birthday dinner at home. I love this place! My hubs is a big red meat eater. Loves his steaks, burgers, you name it. I love it because I can get tons of different chicken breasts marinated and easy to cook. I do love a good burger and they have blended ground beef with brisket and all that stuff. Makes the best burgers. They also have ready to cook meals and cold cuts. Great deals on freezer packs are available too. Next time I go, I'll take pics and post. read more

We ordered and received a fantastic prime rib roast. Well marbled, cooked up medium rare, beef was melt in your mouth. Service was outstanding, I asked for a three rib roast. My number was taken while they checked availability . Received a call later that day to confirm pick up. Horseradish was delicious. read more

We ordered as advertised an Amish turkey. What we got was an "Amish brand" turkey processed at the Wolverine Meat Processor in Detroit. One of their suppliers is Turkey Valley Farms in Minnesota. This is a far cry from a turkey raised in very good conditions on an Amish farm. I've lost trust in this meat market. read more

I shopped here religiously up until this week. Unfortunately, the store has been closed by the health department. German cockroaches everywhere, no soap for handwashing, mold, rotting food, and rodent droppings and live cockroaches in the meat cases. I'm devastated. read more

One look in this place is scary. Coming from NY with gourmet meats markets this place cannot compare. The marinaded meats/kabobs looked dark, old and dried. Freezer section with icy burn on most items. In the far case they had a spiral sliced ham available for purchase, It looked like it's been in the case since last Easter. My goodness. Meat should be red, vibrant and appear fresh- not gray. Be wary. Make the trip to Whole Foods in Clearwater- they will cut, prepare and order everything you need fresh. Publix does the same. No wonder Ryan's was closed down a while back- it's evident to an educated consumer. read more

Has all the basics, ground chuck ground sirloin chops marinated chicken breast chicken breast kebabs steaks. And then, they have a nice freezer section with a wide selection including elk, ground chicken, ground beef, fish, Perfect if you don't want to go to the big chain stores just to run in for meat. There is a produce store right next-door. Between the two markets, you can have dinner planned in seconds. read more

I have never written a bad review that wasn't warranted. I have been going to Ryan's since it opened. There was a bald man behind the counter. I asked a simple question. Why was his rib-eyes at 18.00 dollars/ pound and at Publix is only 7.50 with the bone in. He got defensive! That is a simple question, easy answer, I would have said, because we have superior meat. So he told me to get out of here? I said I am a customer. "Not anymore, GET OUT! IF YOU DON'T LEAVE, I WILL THROW YOU OUT!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS MAN! HE HAS NO IDEA ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you want customer service don't go here. I went in to get meats as Publix was out during the Corona virus pandemic. I asked for chicken in 2-3 lbs in separate bags and was told they would not do that I had to take it all together. Then I asked for ground beef 2-4 pound chunks and again he got abrupt and said I told you that it had to be together. Then the butcher chimed in and I told him I was a first time customer and was not aware of their rules. He started yelling and said that it was not his fault. I said that I was a first time customer and would likely be my last with their attitudes, He said well you can leave now. I did. I don't appreciate being yelled at in front of other customers. I understand everyone is stressed. I am as well trying to locate food to support myself. Very poor attitudes toward the ones paying their salaries. read more
