My go to catering items are Cuban sandwiches, wings, plantains, sausages but I add other items in the mix to keep it fresh. The prices are such a good value for what you get. The food is excellent. It is a great little Italian grocery with plenty of hand cut meats, imported goods from Italy and a fair amount of Latin goods as well and a hot bar like you see in many Latin groceries. I travelled here from the other side of Brandon and there are many places here for Latin goods so honestly I didn't pay much attention to that part of it. They have a good amount of imported deli meats from Italy, in house soups, an amazing crab sauce for pastas and plenty of dry goods. Try the meatball!!! Was very tasty went really well with the flat Cuban bread they serve it on, really easy to eat without making a mess! Came here after hearing great things from a YouTube video we saw for visiting Tampa. I feel like it was much bigger in the guys hands lol but maybe the video portrayed it differently. It was just okay to me but that's because I'm not a huge bell pepper fan and this was filled with them, but I know good meat when it hits my mouth haha and THIS was great crab. I will say it is super flavorful and very reasonably priced. It is a grocery store mixed with a sit down eatery so the ambiance isn't anything spectacular but I love neighborhood spots like this! All the community comes and goes here and you can tell it's a family establishment. It's filled with pictures of memories and also had a cool wine section. Still a great place to come for Italian/Spanish groceries, meat, or pre-made old-school Tampanian food. I usually get the sausage sandwich, because they make their own Italian sausage, and they are very generous with their serving size. A single sandwich can feed me for two meals. I also recently tried their giardiniera olive salad, which is pretty good. I wish it was spicier and a little less salty, but it's still yummy. They now carry guanciale! (Previously, I hadn't seen it.) They pre-slice it, which reduces its lifespan, but is so darned convenient if you are planning to use it soon. Previously, I could only find guanciale in St. Pete (Mazzaro's), and it was sold in bulk, so I had to slice and chop it before using it in pasta sauces. read more

Best Italian wedding soup!!!!!!! Side note, I didn't know they had cuban things in there and I tried all their empanadas and their chicken, guava cheese are the best. Even though Cacciatore and Sons has been in existence for generations, this was my first time walking through the doors. I came here on a weekend with my girlfriend after professing that there was a lack of quality delis in the Tampa Bay area. I must have been looking in all of the wrong places because Cacciatore and Sons was exactly what we were in the mood for. We both ordered the special of the day. An Italian sandwich, pressed with an olive salad in the middle. Truly a one of a kind and unique taste, the sandwich was enormous and delicious. One sandwich could have easily been more than enough for the both of us, so plan on coming hungry, or expect to take home the other half of the sandwich for later. Cacciatore and Sons is the real deal! I will definitely be making another visit here soon. read more

My new favorite locals-only Italian market and deli. I have stopped in here over the years just to look around, but a great many changes have been made since my last visit, and now I've become a regular. In addition to all the standard Italian food supplies they have always carried, they now having a booming sandwich and hot food counter business. I tried their Italian sub special, which they add their homemade olive salad to, and it was delicious. From their deli counter, I have tried the tuna salad, potato salad, and artichoke salad, all of which were incredibly tasty, and cheaper in price than any of the big box stores in the area. Friendly service, large parking lot, and that Mom and Pop feel about the place have made me into a bi-weekly customer. read more

This is a great old school Italian and Spanish market. They specialize in meats and make their own sausage. They also have pastas, tins of seafood, olive oil, Spanish and Italian vinous. Above the registers are photos of the family. There is a also Cacciatore Bros. off Hillsborough in Town & Country that is now run by cousins. The businesses were established by an older generation and are Tampa gems and classic. The interior is nothing fancy, but the staff war all friendly and helpful and the prices are more than reasonable. There are some very good offerings and I love the history and culture. Asturaian Spanish cuisine and Italian heritage are features of Tampa living and this old school market epitomizes those good qualities of good living, eating, drinking, and community. read more

I have been coming here for years... mostly just to buy meat. They have awesome italian sausage, made right there! You can buy a huge variety of different meats, all of which are excellent quality, and fresh. They also have a large selection of italian and latin canned goods, pastas, and other items. The food bar they have looks delicious also, but I have not tried it yet. I used to get some killer Rum Cake here (that was made locally) but the last time I was in, they said that the person that made it stopped making it.. so sad face for that! :( Even the staff said they missed the Rum Cake! I am mad at myself for never coming here before!!!!! I have passed this awesome place so many times and never made the motion to stop by. My family was visiting from New York recently and I was looking for different dinner options since my dad likes to grill. Decided to grab a pinwheel of cheese & parsley sausage and some extra links on the side to see how they were. The gentleman at the meat counter was so kind and the prices were awesome! I also took a local Italian bread from the counter as I was getting ready to check out. OMG...my family RAVED about the sausage and that Italian bread for days (it takes a lot for my downstate NY family to compliment Italian bread down here). This store is small but jam packed with Italian specialties including a deli counter for sandwiches that I MUST try and olives that I feel I need in my life. Some of these items may also be found at other local shops that sell Latin products but this store has more variety of products. They also have a deli, meats and prepared food section. We were able to get freshly sliced mortadella here, not prepackaged. They also carry difficult to find cured meat products like guanciale and pancetta. read more
