The best doctor I ever had. She is very knowledgeable , thorough in explaining your condition and…read moresmart to know the outcome and solutions. Very compassionate, loving, caring and takes time and not rushing when seeing her patients. She is my doctor that I totally trust with my health and well being. Im teally stressed right now that I'm losing her but hope she will still take me when she comes back in practice. Good luck and God bless in your future endeavor. You are one of the best and hope they can clone you, She was recommended to me by a great specialist when I was looking for one 13 years ago and followed her from one hospital to another and it was all worth it!! The Best of the Best!!!

Don't go to this Doctor. Yes, she is nice as she was my Doctor from 2000-2010 while she worked at…read moreMercy Clinic in Woodstock, Illinois, so I can't speak of other lawsuits against this Doctor, but I will briefly share my own experiences. My Medical Negligence lawsuit was dismissed in 2017 because of an error in my bankruptcy paperwork. I was in the ER on a Friday night and had to be squeezed unexpectedly into her Monday morning schedule. Unfortunately for me, I am permanently injured and declared disabled because of HER BAD DAY. I've had multiple surgeries on different areas of my body, in pain every day because of HER BAD DAY. This Doctor had to do the per-surgical clearances and she didn't even look me in the eye and apologize. She did show up at my deposition, though. My livelihood, my career of nearly 30 years is over because of HER BAD DAY. I have endured financial devastation, I lost my home and I am STILL spending $$ on medicinal/physical therapies because of HER BAD DAY. My life span is shortened. In retrospect, I wish I'd gotten a clue when on one of my personal appointments with this Doctor, she spent the majority of time telling me she was not going to refer anymore to the Non-For-Profit company I worked for, also in healthcare. She was ANGRY at one of my Supervisors. I am only speaking of my experiences, however, the other lawsuit(s)- public record. Yes, this Doctor can be nice, she will listen etc., just hope you don't have to be squeezed unexpectedly into her schedule on HER BAD DAY.

I have been a patient of Dr. B for 8 years. I am 63 years old. I've been to different doctors…read moreover the years, and she is by far the best one I have seen. This is a doctor that actually reads the info you provide regarding your health and family medical history. She listens carefully, prescribes appropriate medications, and orders lab tests to verify her findings. She has referred me to specialists for some complex health conditions as necessary. She helped direct me to a gastroenterologist, and an ear/nose/throat specialist who have both identified and successfully treated some conditions I did not realize I had. I feel so much better since I have been going to see her. She recently switched to Northwestern Medicine which is a farther drive for me, but it's worth the trip to receive such compassionate care.

Dr. Bistriceanu became my doctor 4 years ago and ever since then I have avoiding to see her. The…read morefirst time I went to see her she made me cry I was 20 years old, she questioned me about getting raped as a child and I repeatedly told her NO I was not she insisted that I was lying. I am now 24 and I needed to see her since my other doctor no longer works at Mercy, I had no other choice at the time. I missed a few days of work, I walked into the doctor's office she was running behind so I waited about 30 minutes. My body hurt, I was very congested, my nose wouldn't stop running, I had the chills and my chest hurt very badly. Not only that I went to see her for 3 things, 1 because I had the cold or something, 2nd I hurt myself playing sports and needed her guidance on want I needed to do, and lastly, what I didn't know then was that I had a yeast infection (something I have never had) so I'm kind of freaking out. She walks into the room I'm waiting for her in and the first thing that she tells me is "I have no time for you today" Are you kidding me??? I started to cry, I am sensitive and emotional and clearly uncomfortable from the yeast infection that I later found out I had from a different doctor. This awful lady asks me so very rudely why I'm crying and that I needed to knock it off. I am clearly upset that she has no interest in helping me. She examines me on my sickness. I asked her what I had she said you seem congested....Again are you kidding me?? I know that!!! Does not tell me I have the flu or I have the cold and then she tells me that she will proscribe me an antibiotic but I may not need it even though I've been sick for over a week. I have now been sick 3 weeks and her antibiotics did not help me. As a matter of fact I am worse than I was 3 weeks ago. Not only that she asks me what is wrong with my nose, (it was peeling from blowing it so much) so that's exactly what I told her. She said are you sure it's not from that as she points to my lady parts... HOW INSULTING!!! And ones again she asks me about STD and my s** life... I was beyond offended! I got x-rays done for my injury I haven't heard from Dr. B's office in 3 days. I called and some nice lady tells me that she will relay my message. I get a call back from Dr. Bs receptions just so she can talk down to me. She says they came back normal, I told her that something is wrong I need to see someone else (I have never, broken, sprained, teared etc anything in my life) I have no idea who I need to see or ask for. She says OK with attitude and a long silence after that. I continue to ask her who I need to see, she replies again with attitude basically telling me I'm stupid that I need to see an Orthopedic and it would be dr. Trandi. I repeat the doctors name as she raises her voice and says yes Dr. Trandi. At that time I told her I will no longer need Mercy's help I will find my own doctors elsewhere. I have always gone to see Dr. Karney for everything her nurses, receptions everything was just so perfect and then going to Dr.Bs receptions and her I am REPULSED that she is doctor and have nothing but horrible things to say about her. I will never in my life recommend her to ANYONE!!!

This was the worst experience with a physician EVER!!! I made the appointment with this doctor…read morebecause my internist retired, and I'm in need of medical care for serious respiratory issues and severe allergies. The receptionist was very nice, as was the tech, but when that smug little doctor walked in, it all went downhill. He asked what I was being seen for. Before I could finish my first sentence, he was interrupting me and correcting my choice of verbiage. When I said "ok, I'm sorry if I used the wrong term," he became obsessed with it and continued to explain what meant precious little to me. Really! Allergy attack...allergic reaction...I'm in need of a doctor, not a rhetoric lesson, and I said that! His obsession with correcting my English never actually allowed me to explain why I was there. He kept jabbing at my explanation, and speaking to me as if I were a complete idiot. I even asked him to stop interrupting, hear me out, and if he wanted to correct me he could do it after I explained myself. He continued to only focus on my grammar, and never on the actual reason I was there. I started to get a really bad feeling. Finally, after several interrupted attempts to tell him what my symptoms were, and what caused them, I had to trust my gut. I stopped talking, picked up my purse and said I didn't think it was a good idea for him to treat me as a patient, and walked out of the exam room. I went back to the receptionist and asked for to hand my check back-which after telling her what had just happened, she did without hesitation! She even said it's happened before, but "not that much" I told her not to dare to put that through my insurance. Save yourself from time spent with this guy. Just see another physician.
