I chose Well Rooted because the Treatment Plan Agreement promised comprehensive laboratory review, diagnostic evaluation, a personalized treatment plan, and guidance on appropriate next steps. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Throughout my care, I repeatedly had to advocate for myself. A week after my initial appointment, I had to request that my Gut Zoomer test even be ordered. I later had to request that my complete results be shared with me and ultimately found myself reviewing and interpreting those results on my own. After finally receiving my complete report, I noticed multiple items, including a low pancreatic elastase result, that had never been discussed during my results appointment. Its potential significance was never explained, and no follow-up evaluation or diagnostic plan was recommended. Instead, the appointment shifted to a DAO/histamine protocol without any explanation of how that related to my test results or symptoms, leaving me without the personalized care plan and clinical guidance I expected when enrolling in the program. The primary reason I sought care through Well Rooted was to receive professional interpretation of my testing and guidance on appropriate next steps. Instead, I found myself identifying and researching a potentially significant abnormal finding on my own. Communication throughout my care was consistently poor. I had to repeatedly follow up regarding testing, results, appointment logistics, and scheduling. Despite confirming twice beforehand that my results appointment would be virtual, no meeting link was sent. After the scheduled appointment time had already passed, I had to call the office to request that the link be sent before the appointment could begin. That approximately 20-minute appointment ended without a follow-up visit being scheduled or any guidance on when I should next see my provider, leaving me without a clear treatment plan, timeline, or ongoing support. All of this created unnecessary stress while I was already struggling with significant health concerns--the very reason I sought Well Rooted's help. Taken together, these experiences reflected a broader pattern of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of professionalism. After escalating my concerns, the owner acknowledged in writing that "the experience you described does not reflect the standards of Well Rooted" and that my practitioner was in her final week at Well Rooted. Despite that acknowledgment, the practice refused any refund and instead offered that I simply start over with another provider. By that point, I had completely lost trust in the professionalism of the practice and sought care elsewhere. I came to Well Rooted physically unwell but hopeful that I would receive the holistic, personalized care promised by the practice. Instead, I left with the same physical symptoms and the added stress of having to advocate for the very services I had paid for and was promised in my Treatment Plan Agreement.

Both my husband and I have been with his practice for 5 years. Everyone is kind and professional and efficient. Appts are easy to make. Waiting time, if any, is brief. They listen to what you say, you're never made to feel rushed, they give you options, and they guide you to the best path of treatment. Labs can be drawn there with results given within appropriate times. Return calls are always completed. For me, Dr Salvi is old-school, and that's a compliment for those of us who remember how doctors used to be......so with much gratitude to Dr Salvi and his team, and with much encouragement to the reader, you would be most happy at this practice. Blessings.

Dr. Salvi is warm and friendly and shares himself as a real person. He is the first doctor we've had in a long time who really seems to give you his full, caring attention. He contributes useful practical information in a discussion and brings good common sense into his practice as well as medical expertise. I love seeing a doctor who has expertise but also respects his clients' experience and the information they bring to the table. As I said to him, I think we've finally found our doc!!

I usually wind up getting into a room about 10 min late (from appt time) but I believe that is typical of any dr office. Waiting area is always clean. Dr Emily schen is my primary care physician and she is fantastic. She is always friendly and has a smile and has great memory of her patients. My whole family sees her. Her appts are straight forward, sometimes slightly rushed (what dr isn't) but she always takes the time to answer any and all questions I may have. That said, if I have a question for dr shen, she usually calls me herself to discuss, great quality in a dr!! Nurses aren't always typically friendly, but always nice. Last thing, hours are crappy, I think theyre usually close at 5. Doesn't help working people's schedules..
