I really wanted to have a positive experience with Prestige Concrete Edging, but unfortunately,…read moretheir business practices have been incredibly disappointing and, in my opinion, deceitful. To give you an idea of the situation: imagine budgeting $16k for a project. You meet with them, they walk the site, review the plans, and enthusiastically agree to the price to "earn your business." However, two weeks after signing the contract and handing over a deposit, they suddenly claimed the project would now cost $29K. My key Issues: Bait-and-Switch Pricing: The final quote was more than double the original agreed-upon price with vague and VERY inconsistent reasoning. Vanishing Deposit: When I chose to cancel due to the massive price hike, they claimed my entire deposit had already been "used up" on excavation. Lack of Integrity: They committed to a budget just to get the signature, only to move the goalposts immediately after. We are currently pursuing legal action to address these practices. This company is simply not worth the stress or the financial risk. I met many reputable masonry and concrete companies during my bidding phase--I strongly suggest you look elsewhere, you've been warned.

They started work as soon as weather would allow and cleaned up well before they left. Luis was great to work with we will definately be using them again!

Specifically misdiagnosing a panel and not replacing Generac Snap RS 802's under warranty. Something James Scaife acknowledged is a requirement under their warranty. I live 3 hrs away. Perhaps they shouldnt have taken the job. But imagine you being in my shoes and emailing every few months only to get a ZERO.

We had the siding on our house replaced last year by AAPCO and while the final assessment is still…read moredebatable, I am left with too many, "what ifs" to be confident in any of the overall project. Initially after the siding job was completed, I was pleased with the job. The day the siding job was done, I had to work but my wife was at home. From start to finish the entire project took barely 5 hours to complete??? However, a few days later I noticed several pieces of siding on the rear of the house that were coming off. I pulled one of the pieces off and noticed that some sort of glue was used to fasten the siding instead of the standard "notch and clip" used on the last run. I contacted AAPCO and a couple of days later a "foreman" showed up and confirmed the installation problem. Along with the siding, we had a layer of insulation/backing that was to be applied prior to the siding and we could see that the material used was NOT fully applied to the house. There were several bare/vacant areas that had no insulation. Some pieces of siding were removed to reveal that a major portion of the house had receiver NO insulation. I called AAPCO main offices and was told that another crew would be made available and they were going to remove 1/2 of the siding (I'm still not certain the the whole house was insulated) and install the insulation to those areas that were missed. Some of the original crew showed up and proceeded to remove the siding revealing vast areas of the insulation that had not been installed. After replacing the siding the crew left without picking up any of the nails they had pulled requiring me to pick up several hundreds of nails. Which leaves me with an uncertain confidence with the entire project and warranty with AAPCO. The "what ifs." I called AAPCO and asked for an extension on the one year warranty and was told that no adjustments were going to be made. I don't think if there is a problem that AAPCO would stand behind their materials or workmanship. I wonder how many other homes received the same sort of shoddy workmanship that hasn't been discovered yet. I'll bet the same crew has done hundreds of siding jobs with the same lack of attention and devotion to quality that I experienced. The back of their business card says, "Do it once & do it right." Mine was not done once and was far from having been done right. I cannot give a higher review, nor can I recommend them. If you do contract with them I would suggest that you make yourself available when the work is being done, take plenty of pictures and don't be afraid to question any of the work being done.
