He had gone in to pay the bill in person and their system was in the middle of being updated to a new system so he made a payment and left, when he tried to call and make a payment it didn't work due to the "new system" - ok fine. Then within 8 days of making a payment he got sent to collections which we paid off in full once we got that call. How insane that we attempted twice to pay within the same two weeks, given the run around about the system, then get sent to collections within days of making a large payment. Their prices seem extremely high compared to other practices. My husband did like the doctor so he decided to go back for another knee consultation where they told him he needed more PT, told him the price per session based on his insurance would be $15 per session. We got an $1500 bill with the PT sessions being anywhere from $68 to $135. They lie. Will never give them any business again. Avoid.

I've gone to Pres Physical Therapy for about 10 years for a variety of injuries; age related, car…read moreaccident related and sports related. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable on how to help you heal. When possible, they give you exercises to do at home, to help speed up the healing process. In one case, I had shattered my (non-dominant) foot in a car accident. After working with Presad and his team, my formerly-broken foot had strength at least equal to or possibly even a little better when compared to the uninjured dominant foot. My balance was also better on the injured foot vs. the uninjured. Being that this was my non-dominant foot, it is testimony to the work they do. Fortunately with the education process and exercises for home I was able to work on both sides to be more "even" in strength. I left with the knowledge of how to maintain this balance as I age, and continue to do the exercises they taught me. BEFORE I knew of Pres PT, I used a physical therapist in my doctor's office. It was a never ending cycle. I did not get better and my doctor said I needed more therapy. In hindsight, I don't think I ever would have gotten better--because he was able to bill my insurance company for all of these visits. Presad was able to make that issue go away in only a few visits and some home exercises. I feel blessed to have found Pres PT, Presad and his staff. They are completely dedicated to getting you healthy, so you can live your life as pain-free as possible. They are also very flexible in scheduling to make your visits work with your schedule.

In my very first physical therapy session, Faye diagnosed the problem as coming from my spine, L-3 and L-4. She gave me several exercises to do and emphasized correcting my posture. She was spot on, and I faithfully followed her exercises during my sessions and at home; I still do. This eliminated the pain and numbness, and I'm back to doing all the things I want to do. Also, I know what to do should the pain ever return, thanks to Faye.

Before you trust Ignite Medical Resort Hanover Park with someone you love, please read this review…read more If my family had known then what we know today, we never would have placed our father at Ignite. During my father's 26-day stay, someone from our family was with him a minimum of 12 hours every single day. We weren't relying on updates from staff. We were there. We saw what happened. We asked questions. We took notes. We advocated for him every single day. Even with that level of involvement, we constantly found ourselves stepping in because things weren't getting done. Call lights went unanswered. My father's call button wasn't always within his reach when he needed help. Medications were left unattended at his bedside. Delays in care became routine enough that we felt we had to monitor what should have been basic responsibilities. We questioned the wound care he received, medications that were administered without anyone discussing potentially serious side effects, and decisions that never seemed to be fully explained to our family. Over time, the hardest part wasn't just watching his condition decline. It was watching him lose trust in some of the people responsible for caring for him. By the end of his stay, the overnight hours were the ones he feared most because he didn't believe someone would come when he needed help. I've attached one of the photographs we took immediately after removing the bandages from my father's foot after he left Ignite. It is one of many reasons our family still has unanswered questions about the care he received. After my father passed away, we didn't immediately write this review. Instead, we spent weeks reviewing hundreds of pages of medical records, organizing our notes, and preparing a detailed executive review because we believed Ignite's leadership would want to understand what happened. We also made sure to recognize the nurses, therapists, CNAs, and support staff who treated my father with kindness and compassion because they deserved to be recognized. Our review was sent directly to CEO Tim Fields. Amy Hammond, Vice President of Operations, contacted our family and met with us, along with Heintje Miranda, Vice President of Clinical Operations. Amy assured us she would investigate every concern we raised, answer our questions, provide the records we requested, and make sure no other patient experienced what our father had experienced. We left that meeting believing we would finally get answers. Instead, the deadline came and went. I sent a detailed follow-up email listing every document we had been promised, every unanswered question, and every commitment discussed during our meeting. We never received a response. No records were provided. No findings were shared. No explanation was offered. Communication simply stopped. There were employees at Ignite who treated my father with genuine kindness, and our family will always be grateful to them. This review is not about those individuals. It is about the care my father received, the questions that remain unanswered, and the complete lack of accountability from the people responsible for leading this organization. If this is how Ignite responds to a family that was present every day, documented everything, and genuinely wanted answers, I can't imagine what happens to families who aren't able to advocate the way ours did. My family will never again trust Ignite Medical Resorts with someone we love.

The care she received was awful.The staff was rude and would visit the room infrequently. My mother is allergic to dyes, the staff was alerted about this and on several occasions, they still tried to give her colored pills. Well, standing at the nurses station going over my mother's pills another patient came up and they ignored her for over five minutes. The next day another patient needed help to the bathroom and the nurse said call 911, I'll be there when I get there. My mother was there for rehab and after the third day and no scheduled rehab until the fifth day we pulled her out of Ignite. We found out the day before another family pulled their loved one out for the same reasons. Do not take your loved ones to Ignite !! Do not be fooled by their website.

They actually treat you like a person and even remember and greet you by name. They work with you and your pain and injury rather than go by the book and go out of their way to help you, way beyond the call of duty. They spend time getting to know you and your injury and focus on those points not like the other places that tell you to do your exercises by rote and don't even make eye contact treating you like a zombie. A special shout out to the therapists there who genuinely care like Barbara, Pretzel, Mocha, Brittany and Palak who treated me like family. If you're looking for physical therapy stop your search right here and go there. I very highly recommend it and will stand by it.
