Not my job man, that's the countertop guy. Fixing the garbage unit on my cabinet? Not my job man, that's the cabinet guy. Fixing the poorly tiled edges of the kitchen floor? No my job man, that's the tile guy. Patch the wood flooring that got torn up? Not my job. Painting? Not my job. Not my job. Not my job. I should mention at this point that all these other guys he's talking about, are all his guys. Everyone knows that renovations are stressful. But at the end of a job, you at least hope to look at the finished product and feel good about it. Instead, with it 90% done, I feel like he just walked away without finishing all the details, leaving me looking at my unfinished reno and feeling frustrated and helpless. So, if you want a true general contractor to handle a reno, look elsewhere. Muka Interiors is not it. Needless to say, there were plans, revised plans, and a lot of communication with us and the town, AND the insurance adjusters (we had 4 before the repair was completed). Marcello was steady throughout. We must have gone through at least 4-5 revisions and alternative ideas to find one the insurance company would agree to (my house is a balloon structure, meaning there are no supports in the middle of the house. This required posts to support the new hip rafter, and supports for the post on every floor, so Marcello was creative). He and his crew made sure the repair was sound, safe, and when he had to put a beam through my living room to support my house, he made sure it looked absolutely beautiful (and added another to balance it), AND as though it had been part of the house since the 1800's. Abe from Lifta came out and gave an honest assessment of my garage floor fix and proposed many options and color schemes to fit my requirements. He promptly gave me a quote the next day scheduled start date on the same week. The Lifta Epoxy Flooring team arrived on time and with proper face coverings and started work on the floor. They properly prepare the floor which requires a complete sanding of the surface and repairing cracks before you can start applying layers. While his team worked he displayed real examples of all the endless textures and colors that can be applied. I took the silver base with gray swirls and metallic sparkles. The job took a total of three days (part-time) as each layer of coating (Adhesion, base, swirl, clear coat layer) needs ample time to dry and cure. In the end, the epoxy flooring looks amazing and I'm so happy with this work knowing it's also going to be a great investment into the value of my property.

He was a two person operation for most of the time. The person working for him bad-mouthed the work he did. The place was always left a complete mess. He was never on-site to supervise his flunkies. So many things had to be done twice or even three times. Garbage was piled in every room and outside as well. It never seemed to be removed! Ofir was rude in his responses to our e-mails. One time he told me to wait until he was finished to complain. He left a expletive-laden voice mail on my husbands phone.
