We had hired a company previously, and they started to excavate them walked away from the job after some issues. The day I called Samuel he was there in less than 20 minutes and agreed to get a permit to close up the yard for the winter. He was able to secure the appropriate permits to work on the completion of our entire yard with the county. Our issue wasn't just aesthetics it was primarily problems relates to significantly erosion. He put us on his list immediately in the new year and started promptly as the weather was agreeable in February/March of 2024. Samuel had very practical ideals to resolve the erosion and restore our yard to a more beautiful state than we could've imagined. He was creative and enjoyed us giving him the freedom to move forward with his ideas; yet he communicated questions, concerns and decision making every step of the way. We were pleasantly surprised to see that he was at the job site every day ensuring things were done properly and doing a significant amount of the work himself! He even surprised us with some extra design ideas with landscape and lighting ideas. He was truly always kind and upbeat. We are so entirely grateful for all of the hard work completed in such a timely manner. We thank God we found him and what he has done for us. Just be careful. The exhaust system itself seams to be installed and working just fine. The initial…read moresump pump that was installed ended up "failing" a few months after installation though and flooding out our finished basement ($5k in damages). We assumed it was just a bad pump which I would never blame on the installer. They were great with agreeing to come out and install a new one. We even paid them install a backup system shortly after so this would never happen again. A few months later we got a notification that the primary sump pump wasn't working AGAIN. Luckily we had the backup pump installed and we didn't have another flood. We decided to bring in a licensed plumber. He looked things over and told us that the sump wasn't installed as it should have been so we had an airlock in the main pump. Looking back at the second "failure" it was likely the same thing happened with the first pump that caused the flood. We have been in communication with them and asked for a reasonable refund on the installation of the second pump (we asked for nothing related all the damage caused by the first failure). They maintained that they did nothing wrong. We are still waiting on the refund. I know they install a ton of these systems, and it sounds like this isn't common (according to them). Maybe we just got unlucky with having two sump pumps fail in the matter of a couple months. And that the licensed pumper was incorrect with his assessment of how it should have been installed. Maybe. But I just wanted to mention to be careful with the sump pump installation if you decide to go with them.
