If after reading this review you hire another company... seek mental help. Scott and Jade are two of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. For a lot of people moving can be very stressful. Prior to the move they were extremely helpful and beyond accommodating to work around my schedule with working full time and being in school full time. I ended up taking the day off but a couple things really stood out to me about these gentlemen. Number 1: their overall attitude. They were genuinely very friendly and happy people to be around and never once heard either of them complain about anything. Number 2: they worked very hard and efficiently. Number 3: this really stood out to me... I had a bunch of different companies in and out throughout the day... Jade told me that if someone was here and they would bump heads he would stop the clock since he recognized my limited time to get things done. I said thank you but I refused the very thoughtful offer. That really spoke to me about his character that it is yes a business, but they are genuinely looking to help people above all else and I think the world could use more people like that. Number 4: I found this funny. A light bulb that was in a lamp was busted.. I'm convinced it was busted in the storage unit and was at no fault of either Scott or Jade as all of mine and my girlfriend's belongings were handled with great care. Jade noticed the bulb was busted and apologized for it at least 3 times to which I kept saying it's a light bulb I'll be alright. Again though this spoke to their high character. Lastly: I never spoke of my military service but when it was time to pay them for the great work they did Scott offered me a military discount, there were quite a few things Marine Corps related that he obviously put 2 and 2 together, to which I again refused as personally I do not want any hand outs for my service but the gesture was extremely considerate. Both Scott and Jade were an absolute pleasure to be around and I enjoyed talking to both of them after all the work was done, very funny guys. If you are still unsure whether or not to hire them... my only advice is to take yourself to your Doctor and have him check for a pulse. read more

This review is long overdue, so sorry Scott & Jade - I had fully intended to write this much sooner. I hired S & J to move my parents from NY state to SC. It was a very stressful and hectic time for my family and we'd already been ripped off by another mover so were very apprehensive about hiring another. I decided to go with a non national local company since the big chain movers only ever sub out their jobs to local guys and all had terrible reviews. I spoke with both Scott & Jade about the move. Their estimated cost was on par with other companies that do out state moves and they were so easy to work with. They were always very polite and patient with me - and I'm a tough customer on a regular day but even worse during this time. Really nice, considerate, professional guys. If you need a local or long distance move, I highly recommend these guys. They loaded up fast and very carefully and got all of mom and dad's stuff to it's new home on time and in very good condition. They even gave me updates as to their travel progress. Finding reliable movers can be a challenge. Broken trucks, late pickups, unreturned phone calls, forgotten appointments, high rates. We've all been there and we've all heard the horror stories. This was not our experience with S&J Delivery Services! From the first phone call, everything went according to plan. Messages left were returned, pickup date, time and places were confirmed. Changes were readily accommodated. Our long distance move involved multiple pickups in Buffalo and a delivery in Chicago. Scott and Nate arrived on time. Not only were they very professional but courteous and personable as well. They were extremely respectful of our possessions and loaded/unloaded them with great care. They provided extra wrapping when they deemed it necessary and used their experience, patience and skills moving items in and out of extremely tight spaces. Everything you are looking for in movers you will find with S&J. We found our forever movers and thats the highest recommendation we can provide. Give them a call. Honestly, and I mean this 100%, if you are in the middle of searching for a moving company, you need to stop your search now. I mean it. I have moved a bunch of times over the years, and have used various moving companies. But then I found these guys. Scott and Jade are extremely professional, down to earth, and great guys. I KNOW our move was more of a pain in the neck than it could have been (more items, boxes, and disassemble/reassemble than we originally thought), but they never complained about it and just kept on working. They were in a good mood the whole time and kept saying how much they love their job. On top off all this, they were by far the least expensive company we called. My final thought: People always seem to shop for price. But with movers, you have to find the right people who you can trust to handle all or your stuff, and to be in and out of your home. I had to move quickly from Rochester to Orchard Park, about 20 mins outside of Buffalo. I searched for a company that was reputable, yet not trying to take me for every penny I had. I came across S&J and only found good reviews across the board. I was a bit skeptical at first, but they actually lived up to their reviews. The response time was quick and setting everything up was painless. On the day of the move, they were quick, efficient, careful with my belongings and affordable. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were professional, friendly and all of my possessions were delivered intact and it only took a few hours, including travel time. Scott and Jade were such a huge help. The movers we initially hired ended up canceling last minute due to some personal matters so I found Scott on Yelp at like 11 pm, and he managed to organize his team and come help us move the next morning. They were super professional, polite and knew what they were doing. They were quick and at the same time careful with the furniture. We were keeping everything in the storage, so had to also unload all the furniture there. Which the locker we picked was the biggest available but it took some talent to fit all of it in there. Scott, Jade and crew are FANTASTIC!!! They were responsive, good communicators, strong, efficient.....and really kind!!! We ended up moving in some bad weather. We had a storage unti, then a stop in Elma at the rental then to our new house in Holland. and they went the extra mile.........shoveling and putting down mats. The move took longer than expected and they were willing to charge the quoted fixed price but for the great work they did, we paid them the hourly rate so they would know how much we appreciated their good work. I couldn't be more grateful for these hard working men. If it wasn't for them I my move in September would not have been possible. I was in the middle of a MS flair up and had no strength or energy. They kept in touch with me the day before to confirm my appointment and called me the day of to let me know they were able to come early which was fantastic! They took great care in moving all my things. They hooked up my washer and dryer and made sure they were working properly. I give these gentlemen 5 stars and would absolutely use them again.
