She didn't even ask what we were looking for, just came at us with a lot of passive aggressive comments about where we parked on the lot. It's not that her requests were irrational, just the way she approached the situation was very unprofessional. As a result, I will take my business elsewhere. This was the Glenwood location.

I had 12 years problem free, then this woman, that is in the same Facebook groups as I am, starts hassling me over my bill, like I had never seen in 12 years. Only issue I had with Apex is that my can was not getting emptied fully. I learned to put the heaviest garbage on the bottom of my can, and they gave me an extra bag pick up, free. I did have to adjust for their equipment, but it has been smooth sailing with Apex for years. No street activists, singling people out for their opinions, working in Apex's billing department. I guess he doesn't realize that people have cameras. He emptied the bin, then threw it on the ground and used profanity loud enough for the camera to catch it. Nice way for neighbors to wake up. The people working here are incredibly friendly, especially the cashier who checked us out today. They looked like a biker or a metal band member and they were so friendly and clearly love their job. The parking lot is alright, it has a lot of spots but can be chaotic when it's busy. It can also be a bit tough to get out of.

Their prices were egregious and in most cases were more expensive than a regular retail store. What's the most upsetting is that all of these items were donated. They received them for free! I can't imagine people who're actually financially struggling being able to afford to shop here which is the whole point of a thrift store to begin with. Side note: I found a single used butter knife for $1.99 and a used red Kitchenaid stand mixer for $179.99. Just for reference, I purchased my Kitchenaid brand new from Macy's for $200! 5 STARS! I've been going to Burcham's Metals most of my…read morelife. I was the kid of a sculptor. Burcham's was definitely one of my old man's favorite stops in the Willamette Valley. I remember spending hours there, in all kinds of weather. These days, as I clean out his old buildings and sculpture part graveyards, I find myself back at Burcham's returning some of that very same metal. What comes around goes around. Angie in the yard is really fun to work with and, and Mitch and the other guys always have a smile on their face. Very Fair, Professional, Clean yard with a great group of folks helping you out. I'm not sure you can do better with than Burcham's.
