As a guest at a…read morerecent wedding I attended I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail by the staff, we were greeted at the front of the Chateau and escorted to walk down a pathway to the gazebo, where the Ceremony took place which looked stunning coming down the pathway as the wedding party made their way down, after the Ceremony headed back up the pathway inside to discover everything set up perfectly for the dinner with was very elegant the staff very accommodating released tables, food line well placed and ran quickly and efficiently, staff picking up empty glasses and plates, everything right on point and staff extremely well orchestrated down to the last detail of service for guests, and wedding party, then as the party got a bit rowdy the staff watched for signs of to much alcohol intake, and took action of kindness but assertiveness for cutting off alcohol when needed. They have a gorgeous interior space and plenty of outdoor seating options for your event. Ceremony and reception can be held at the same place with either an outdoor or indoor ceremony. There is a gazebo set up outside with benches on either side of an isle. There is ample room for parking in their gravel lot. The Bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous and bright! I can only imagine the perfect photographs being taken in this room for someone's special day! When we visited the venue was decorated for an upcoming wedding this weekend. Kim had great ideas, decorations and planning for the upcoming event and would be wonderful to work with. Check out their website for more information.

They turned out beautiful and way better than I had pictured them in my head! She was very polite and accommodating to my schedule and when I needed to pick them up. I reminded myself exactly how much I love it and how I've missed out! I want to make an effort to come more next year. We almost missed out because even though we called 3 weeks in advance the reservations were full. Luckily we were able to get through on a cancellation yesterday. We started out with the Honeysquash soup and the lamb meatballs, which are still my favorite. The soup was a bit thinner than I expected but still tasted great. Our main course came and I finally got to try their short ribs! (If you only knew the saga we went through in 2018 to try and fail to get to taste their short ribs you would understand.) They were every bit as yummy as I imagined. They came with a side of their crispy potato cake - which was more like scalloped potatoes but I loved them. It also came with roasted parsnips and radishes. I haven't had parsnips in years but trust me when I say I'll have to try to get them more now. They were roasted with I believe just a little oil, salt and pepper so the vegetables shown through. Exactly how I like them! The eggnog ice cream was tasty but the ginger molasses cookies were the star! The service was friendly, especially considering that my dinning partner was left alone for the first 20 minutes due to a ride/work snafu on my part. The place was decked out for the holidays and it would be worth a visit just to see that. I will for sure be back, I only wish I had someone to go to their February Valentine's Day event with so I could eat more of their food soon! ---- A side note is their CSA program was cancelled in 2019. I hope they will bring it back as I definitely miss getting all the fresh produce!

Little did I know there was going to be free food and drinks in a new fancy pants events space.. The River Center is set up perfect for an event like this! Lots of space upstairs and down stairs, and also fun outdoor space! The River Center had bar set up in all three locations as well, up/down, and outside! The staff was super nice and were super accommodating! I got to check out the upstairs bathroom cause naturally I brought my son ( bad idea?) and he had to go! Bathrooms were super nice, the food looks fab (again my son ate like 5 fancy cookies) and the space and sound system worked really well! If you were going to have a huge wedding, prom, or a big corporate event, this would be a great spot to do it.. It's fancy without being, to fancy. It got lots of parking around it, and it's close to other fun restaurants and bars, and the baseball stadium if you need to venture out and eat more food since you didn't get to eat 5 cookies like your kid.

They were also very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated for our group (e.g., gluten and soy allergies). The food was a hit with our participants, and the setup and service helped the day run smoothly.
