WOW! What a great company! We were traveling to Colorado when our serpentine belt broke and tensioner pully broke. I went to Google and found S&S Autobody sales and service. While traveling from CA to MD, the car's chck engine lights started flashing and the car stopped working, which had us sitting beside the road a thousand miles from home, on a Saturday morning!! My son found S&S Autobody on google and was able to get us towed from Russell to Lincoln. When the owner,Jared identified the alternator as gone bad, he attempted to find an alternator but since it was the weekend everything was closed or didn't stock that model. Jared helped us find a place for lodging and gave good advice for restaurants. On Monday morning Jared worked on getting the alternator overnighted for us to be able to leave as quick as possible. Wanted to write a review on behalf of my family as my parents' RV's trailer had a tire blow out on I-70 and we were stuck at the Wilson campgrounds Saturday night. We contacted Jared and he came out to the campgrounds on a weekend night right away, picked up the trailer and had it fixed by the next morning @ 10am. He also helped us fix a few other things on the RV that had gone wrong due to the trailer incident with no charge. Would fully recommend Jared and S&S Autobody to anyone for any mechanical problems. This shop saved us when the interior tire on our 20ft UHaul blew out on our cross country move. The shop closes at 5:30p but they waited on us to arrive shortly after and were able to help get it changed out after hours. Jared even lent us his car so we could go get a bite to eat while they changed it out, which they were able to do in less than an hour and without us having to unpack the truck. Super grateful for Jared and his team for making what could have been a major disaster an easy fix. Definitely go see them for any auto issues you run into! He also mentioned they have a mobile unit and can come to you which I'll be keeping in mind since I drive on 70 frequently between Nashville and Denver. I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jared and the team at S & S Auto Body in Lincoln, KS. About 2 weeks ago, I was on the way back to Colorado from Tennessee in my 43ft coach and ended up with an engine issue west of Salina (exit 233). During this 20+ hour ordeal, there were multiple towing companies that either wouldn't come out or set a time to show up and then cancel. Jared came out around the 18-hour mark, looked at the issue, and then got me back to their Lincoln, KS shop. He then sent one of his drivers on a 70-mile one-way trip to purchase a serpentine belt to get me back on the road. During the downtime, I got a chance to walk around Lincoln and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. While driving our 5th wheel from Nevada to Tennessee we got a flat tire on Interstate 70. Our roadside service called Jared at S&S Autobody and he came out on an Saturday afternoon. While waiting for Jared to arrive we inspected our other tires and noticed another tire was showing wear. When Jared arrived he not only assisted us with changing our flat but also checked our other three tires and showed us that in fact all needed to be replaced. We followed Jared to his shop where he had a better set of tires then the generic ones that came on our rig and changed them out at a fair price.His service was exceptional, friendly, and he went above and beyond to ensure our safety on our trip!
