We weren't home for our first cleaning, but we left notes detailing what did and did not need to be cleaned. We also labeled our doors and cabinets (and, notably, it wasn't Sable's first time at the the house). We when got home, I couldn't tell if the cleaners had come or not. At first glance, it didn't appear that they had. The floors hadn't been swept, dishes weren't put away, and the downstairs bathroom wasn't cleaned. I went upstairs and the only rooms that appeared to have been cleaned were the master bath and bedroom. Simply put: it barely looked like cleaners came at all --much less that the house had been professionally cleaned. I reached out to the owner, Terry, to provide him with feedback about the cleaning and to show him pictures of the unswept floors and uncleaned bathrooms (texts attached). His response was that since we weren't there, the cleaners didn't know what to do. (It seems obvious that they should have at least cleaned the bathrooms and swept the floors). I would have expected an apology or offer to come back and complete the job; instead, I was blamed for the cleaners not cleaning. I told Terry that I left notes (with my contact info) and that someone could have at least called me for further instructions if they were unsure. I also told him that if he didn't know what to do, he should have rescheduled rather than not complete the job. He did not respond. I told Terry we would love to have them back to go over everything with them, but of course we weren't going to pay full price for the unfinished job. (Texts attached) Again, not even the minimum of cleaning the toilets and sweeping the floors were done. Terry didn't respond to that message, either. Given that Terry (1) didn't take any responsibility for the unfinished cleaning - which, he admitted they didn't do because they "didn't know what to do" and (2) didn't provide ANY level of professional that I would expect from someone that I let into my home, I told Terry to remove us from his cleaning schedule. He responded "will do" and immediately invoiced us for full price cleaning services. In response, I told Terry that we would pay for the laundry and for cleaning the master bedroom (apparently they made the bed) but that I wasn't paying for full cleaning services because I didn't receive full cleaning services. Terry responded - "No way, I'll send it to my lawyer. They will put a lien on your home." (Text messages attached). I'm sure Terry didn't realize, but I am a lawyer and this threat got him (and will get him) no where. In summary: (1) Terry's cleaners didn't clean our house because they "didn't know what to do" (even though I left notes and they could have called for further instruction, but did not); (2) Poor customer service; (3) invoiced at full price for partial services (4) threatened to sue us. **Note: We chose this Company based on the high number of great reviews we saw on other sites (including Angie's list). We were disappointed and surprised that we did not have the same great experience.

He was very nice as I was to him as well. I was so excited and grateful to get my carpet cleaned by a professional. They said the job would take approx 3 hours to do. It took him 2 hours to clean a full couch and 3 rooms. He was in a hurry to leave my house after dark to get to a call backs house. He told me it would dry in 1.5 days. On the 4th day my son and I put white socks on to walk on the carpet and it turned our socks dark brown and wet. I said this carpet is not clean. In my bedroom the carpet feels weird. It feels very chalky. I looked it up. Chalkiness after cleaning means there's too much cleaning solution still on the carpet that will eat the fibers and ruin your carpet. I took pictures and called the office saying there are still some stains left and the carpet is chalky, not including the paint stain he said he couldn't get rid of, other stains I believe we're not sprayed. She said I'm not trying to brush you off but the manger is in a meeting he will call you back. Great. I turned my phone off silent and answered every spam call (approx 40 a day) in hopes it was him. NOTHING. I called later in the day, the manager had gone home for the day. I called the next day, the admin said I'm sorry the manger is in a meeting he will call you back in 30 mins. PERFECT! . Waiting for his call he NEVER called. As the day goes by still answering every spam call while I'm at work, I'm getting several text messages from the admin saying sorry for your frustration call the office to solve your issue urgently. But I would call the office and she wouldn't answer the phone. It becomes night time and still no call from the manger. The admin text me a picture of the paint in my carpet that I know won't come out and says "the manager is aware of your frustration and your issue but some carpet is beyond repair. " I said OK so he is ignoring me and refusing to give me a call and what about the chalkiness? She said he will call you tomorrow. I said okay I will believe it when I see it. She said "OK he won't call" WOW. how unprofessional! I told her I was in the process of writing a negative review on Facebook. She said OK and we will respond with the pictures of how utterly filthy your carpet was when we got there. We have 14 years of 5k satisfied customers. I wrote the review and then was blocked from Facebook. I still have not received a call from the manager and this is the third day of me waiting. I'm not asking for a miracle here and I'm not asking for my carpet to be restored to look brand new. I'm asking for professionalism, which would be a callback from the manager in a timely manner. The chalkiness removed from my carpet in some areas. And the stains that aren't paint to be sprayed because I believe Chris didn't spray all the stains and what stains are left are the ones he didn't spray. But these responses and not getting a call back to explain to the manager myself what I'm asking for is completely unprofessional and not " top-tier Rated #1 Service". Lowe's didn't even carry carpet the quality we got - we got Karastan and high-quality Stainmaster carpet and pads. First ask yourself this: what is important to you? If you are new to the area like us, your wallet is hemorrhaging with one out of three contractors not getting back to you with a quote; one outta three gives you a sky-high price because there is so much work out there and they just don't give a damn about you; but if you look hard enough, you'll find a third outfit that is hungry, takes cash, and will deliver the same or better product at a really good price. OK, C&CC might appear a bit sketchy but we saved hella cash and we love the final outcome. The carpet is stored at a huge warehouse - walk around, pick your carpet and the staff will help you to pick the best-in-breed they have on the floor. They buy after job / job lot from the big contractors/outfits and they'll pass those savings on to you. The installers were good ol' boys and they did scuff up our freshly painted walls a bit (I was initially angry but the scuffs could be washed or painted over) but they did do a good job on the install. I helped out a bit as I've installed carpet with my Dad when younger. They overcut the yardage we needed so we have carpet we can make area rugs from. Again, you can buy top-shelf carpet from C&CC and get it installed by others or get it installed by their associated installers. Lowe's and Kirkland's hires out their installs - if you read their reviews, the performance of their contractors can be spotty as well and you'll easily be paying triple... your choice on how you wish to spend your money. My wife is super happy with the outcome from C&CC and that is truly saying something.
