My last experience was terrible and the last time I visited that place. I decided to do my own laundry. I put the clothes in the washer. After taking them out, I noticed oil stains all over the clothes. I went to complain to the lady on duty. She gave me a number to the manager, who's never there. I knew this from my past experiences. I contacted the local police dept and files a report to document the incident, as the staff member advises me to do. The clothes purchase price came out to about $400 dollars. Not cheap. I get a phone call a few days later saying they needed my address so they can contact their attorney. Like I'm trying to lie about the incident. Few days later, the attorney sends me a letter stating I'm lying and the clothes were like that to begin with. I find that hilarious since I had 4 machines running and had about 5 loads. That was the only one that damages my clothes. I'm going to pursue this just so the place can learn a lesson to better treat their customers. Poor customer service. I'm not one to complain, I usually give credit where it's due. In this case, this place should be shut down.

The first time I brought 2 dresses and 1 of the dresses was tailored completely incorrectly. The 2nd time I had gotten a gown tailored for the hem only staying that I needed it a week later which the ticket stated as the date (which is plenty of time to complete a hem). When I arrived, the tailor could not find my dress and when found stated that it was not hemmed or pressed at all. She stated to come back in 30 minutes without any concern about the dress not being tailored on time. Still had to pay full price even though I had to wait and was in a rush. I would not recommend Totowa Plaza Cleaners as they are unreliable and can not complete your services on time and/or correctly.

I had plans to go to a laundromat after my visit to the DMV office (that is in the same strip mall area as the laundromat). And I saw there was a laundromat as I pulled into the parking lot. How convenient for me! I went in first to check to see if the machines were coin-operated only or if they were the cashless type. The lady at the front desk told me the machines were coin-op only. However, she was able to use my bank card to pull cash of $20 (with a .60 cent card fee). The facility looked well maintained, clean and air-conditioned when I walked in. The bathroom is for customers only and there is an oversized sink with a detachable nozzle. Nice! There are two different sized washing machines with the smaller one priced at $3.75 and the larger one at $4.75. Dryers are one size priced at .25 cents for every 7 minutes. Several tables to fold your laundry and carts are available to use throughout. There were even some lint rollers and a couple of portable lint shavers to use at one of the tables. They also provide little perks depending on what day you come in. Today was free dryer sheets day. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available via QR code access using your smart phone's camera. I went in on a Tuesday around 11:30am and the place was almost empty. I obviously came in during their non-peak time. Overall, great facility. Plenty of parking space. Staff is friendly and helpful. Laundry supplies are available for purchase at front desk, if needed.
