The first time I brought 2 dresses and 1 of the dresses was tailored completely incorrectly. The 2nd time I had gotten a gown tailored for the hem only staying that I needed it a week later which the ticket stated as the date (which is plenty of time to complete a hem). When I arrived, the tailor could not find my dress and when found stated that it was not hemmed or pressed at all. She stated to come back in 30 minutes without any concern about the dress not being tailored on time. Still had to pay full price even though I had to wait and was in a rush. I would not recommend Totowa Plaza Cleaners as they are unreliable and can not complete your services on time and/or correctly.

Angel was away on business so his daughter was runningring the show. She had me try on each suit and began marking where the alterations were to be made. She never actually wrote them down. There was a charge for the shoulders, a charge for the back, a charge for a sleeve, a charge for the waist, a charge to move a pocket, a charge for the inseam, a charge for a hem. Tit for tat.... When I came back for my fitting, the some of the alterations were done on the incorrect items. I was told I had to pay to alter them as well, despite my protest. When I came back again for a fitting, on one suit jacket, where the Shoulder was corrected, the sleeve was now too short, once again, I can go on and on. She refused to accept responsibility for any errors or miscommunication. There was no reasoning with her. The only response I kept getting was the prices are pre set. RIDICULOUS!!! If I didn't need one of the suits ASAP there would have been war. My final total for three suits was 1200 DOLLARS !!! Had I paid with a credit card this would not have been an issue, my dispute would have taken care of things. However, when I went to give a large deposit which they insisted upon, I asked if they would take cash for a tax discount (a common practice) I was told sure. I was given a 3% discount. I was expecting something in the neighborhood of 10%. After I left I remember there is NO TAX ON Alterations. Once again this very unprofessional, without any business sense, nor customer relations experience sarcastic, know it all would not even consider reasoning. I am very disappointed, with this whole experience, and am considering it i do not get any type of satisfaction, having my attorney bring action against them.

She was so kind and it was so cute inside. I had a large top, extremely wide leg pants tailored to be less wide, and Lululemon pants that I needed hemmed. She did a FABULOUS job on both! They each had specific detailing on them that I didn't want compromised - for example my denim outfit I wanted to keep existing hem and she did just that. I had the denim top that had a bow and slits and somehow she did some magic and took the top in so it was slimmer and put back the slit and bow as if nothing ever happened. UNREAL. I asked for a blind hem on my Lululemon pants - done! She has the most incredible touch and attention to detail. She truly earned a customer for life. Thank you Jenny!!
