I was very satisfied with the quality of their work, so I later had them return to replace our hot water dispenser/heater I got. Once again, they were able to come out on a Saturday and got everything working perfectly. It's not easy to find a reliable plumber who is responsive, reasonably priced, and able to accommodate urgent weekend service. They talked me into a total relining and epoxy of all pipes in the house which cost quite a lot! Yesterday the washer backed up into the kitchen sink again. I called EPS and they came out and quoted me $850 to snake the washer drain line. I explained that they had repaired it before and that I should get a discount at least. They said because that was a branch line they considered it another problem and would not discount the price. I sent them away. Steve's plumbing came and snaked out the washer line for $450.

The owner Chad answered the call and was very patient listening to my explanation of the problem. He clearly knew what was needed and we scheduled a day and time. The day before our scheduled appointment I asked Chad if he would be able to replace my garbage disposal, no problem. I took a picture of the existing disposal and sent it to Chad. Chad arrived on time and I appreciated his assessment and on what would be done. He installed the pressure regulator with copper piping and recommended if I would like to have a water outlet installed. Great location Great idea! Chad also replaced an old hose bibb valve that was stuck to the hose. The garbage disposal installation went well and his assistant showed me where the reset on button is located as well as what to do if the blades are jammed. I highly recommend Plumbing Kings Hawaii because they are reputable, honest and reliable. Chad has immense knowledge and expertise in the business beyond his years. The owner of the company responds --Kai (Kekai) Iokia--and I call/email/text him when a unit needs repair/maintenance. He responds immediately. Sometimes hand washing stations need tubing replaced or algae builds up in the tank --he sends out his team within 24 hours and ensures the unit is repaired or replaced. 4K services our units twice weekly but I've increased it to 3X weekly in Aug/Sep each year when we have additional workers onsite. I've learned that this is a business Kai is building for his family--a legacy for future generations. That explains the sincere care he has for his clients.
