This update is long overdue, mostly because things have been running so smoothly that there have been no issues to report. We've been receiving deliveries like clockwork, so I've not had to contact customer service at all. Another reason I haven't had to call them is that so many features are automated, and I mean this in a positive way. I mentioned in my initial review that I liked being able to go online and directly manage some of my account details. I just logged in to my account and the main screen is divided into: * Billing Information - where I can update my phone number, email address, and password. * Delivery Information - here also I can update my phone number and email address - for purposes of delivery, so they could be different from the billing information. Also displayed are the driver and route codes, and the next scheduled delivery date. * Account Balance - mine shows $0.00 due, probably because I have them automatically charge my credit card each month. * Open Invoices - there are no open invoices, again probably because of auto charges to my credit card. * My Deliveries - prominently shows the next delivery date, where there is a button to click to skip that delivery. Another option is to "View Deliveries." * Favorites - just has an image and description of the type of water being recurringly delivered. In the upper-left corner of the page is a menu icon, and when I click on it, the options are: * My Dashboard - takes you back to the main, initial screen. * Billing - I used this option recently to update my credit card details. * My Orders * My Account Besides their website, I receive email and phone reminders if there is a delivery scheduled for the following day. I am also able to download a PDF version of their delivery calendar, and there is even a way for me to upload the calendar of deliveries into my personal (Proton) calendar, accessible online or through my calendar app, which now shows me delivery dates for the upcoming months. I just fired a local water company because they just didn't have their act together. I reached out to Aloha Water and I have had nothing but EXCELLENT customer service from the very first phone call to my delivery this morning. The last company, the driver complained to my face for asking him to deliver to my back lanai. This company not only placed it on my back lanai, but put it right by my door WITH a hand written invoice! I also love that they have biodegradable caps and have a "bottled on" date affixed on the cap. I am so pleased we switched to Aloha!! Seriously, if you are feeling like a number to that other big company. Like they don't care because they can't answer your phone call or say they are coming but don't, You should switch to Aloha. I made the mistake of signing a contract with a pushy salesman to get water delivery service committed for my elderly parents. Verbally promised things but when push came to shove the fine print didn't have what I expected it would have. Somehow they managed to submit the contract as a debt on my credit score. I have an average 780fico but these guys are low class in terms of service. I stopped the service. Then they said I owe $250 for the service for the rest of the year. And left a mark on my credit. No need to get into contracts for water delivery. Go elsewhere. read more

We have had service with this water company for about 6 months now. We are very happy with this company. I had to decide between this company and Menehune. After reading reviews online I decided to go with Aloha because the reviews made them seem more reliable with delivery. So far, they have been great. Delivery as expected. I would definitely recommend Aloha Water Company over the others offered in Oahu. There is a huge difference with customer service and billing questions. Robyn has always helped me with questions on billing and delivery of bottles. I started with a 5 gallon and later changed to 3 gallon. They pretty much are on time with deliveries on the date they say the will pick up and deliver bottles. They are very accommodating when it comes to any questions with services. The delivery guys are also very polite and do their best to deliver bottles where you want them to. I will continue to use their service going forward. read more

I switched from menehune water and am so glad I did. at menehune, i would be on super long holds, get my order incorrect, incorrectly charge me and deliver at the wrong house despite multiple calls and hours on hold. aloha water has been extremely consistent in delivering on time, at the correct place, and very easy to get a hold of. also they even deliver it at the top of my stairs and if my bottles aren't out, they courtesy call me. super awesome and thank you!! read more

Signed up for service with them and I am so happy and excited about it! If you didn't know, they offer regular purified water and alkaline purified water!!! You also have to option for BPA free bottles for your alkaline water!! Yes, I know! It's exciting!! Delivery is to your door every 10 days and they recycle the used bottles. This means less waste and no going through cases of bottles of water each month! More room in your refrigerator as they have hot/cold and cold only water coolers to dispense your water. You have to option of renting or buying your cooler and they offer sanitation services for your coolers too! I think people who drink a lot of bottled water will understand me when I say that not all bottled water is the same. This water is easy to drink, smooth. It is good cold/hot and even at room temperature. Robyn, from their customer service/sales department was always quick to respond to my emails and she was very sweet and helpful over the phone. I was a customer of Aloha Water before they moved to their new location at Campbell Industrial. Unfortunately, I've decided to discontinue our service. The main reason is their location. They're in one of the most unhealthy and unsanitized environment to serve drinking water. When I arrived at their new location to start service (renewal). Immediately, I notice another company working alongside. The area was cluttered with a lot of rusted material laying around but the most concerning part was the amount of smoke and dust passing through. It wasn't the dust of wind. They are neighbors with a welding company that were consistently moving materials and welding (producing smoke) in the same building (split). That is the most hazardous location for a company that serves "drinking water". The old location in Halawa was much cleaner with no hazardous debris of dust. I'm not saying AW intentions is to poison the water but a speck of dust can possibly seap its way in these bottles. This calls for a Tetanus shots among their customers and employees. If you are a customer reading this and don't believe it. Simply drive to their location and judge for yourself. read more

We have had Aloha Water service at our office for a number of years. However, probably in the last year or so...their billing has become so difficult to read, that our office often underpaid the monthly bill. This was unknowing, but when this happened, they came for deliver and demanded payment, then refused to deliver water. This is for a matter of like $50.00. I called to let them know how disgusted I was with this treatment, and was told that many people have 'complained' about the billing and that they would do a special billing and send to us each month. We just had the delivery guy come, and he said that we missed a payment, probably because they didn't send the bill?? A payment, in our system, was mailed ending August... but I guess they didn't get it, or I don't know what the problem is... but they refused to deliver again. Long time business customer - but Aloha Water just lost our account. I also have it at home, and have had it at home for over 20 years, but I will cancel and probably use Menehune. I understand bills have to be paid and the company cannot take chances, but it is once in a while and like $50.00. Although, they probably failed in sending the invoice - I will take responsibility for under payment but they need to think about their relationships. Threatening and denying delivery is not a way to treat longstanding good customers. No more Aloha. Shame on you Aloha Water, and Danny (the owner) for treating good companies like this. No one can replaced Aloha water company - the first company that serviced Alkaline water that I was aware back then until now. Tried other company but Aloha water company has the best delivery site services , with all the months that I was with their serviced, my deliveries were excellent. Billing is good. Priced is right and continues to be perfect not until the rented machine was due for a serviced, had missed communication and discontinued our delivery services. I called the Company back to sign up for the delivery services and they are happy to deliver it on our second floor home. Staff are friendly and accurate. Thank you to Robyn for starting our delivery services. Our first delivery was great! Receipt of the delivery is in placed as directed and no contact was followed. We have been using Aloha water company for over a year now. They have been consistent with deliveries, extremely responsive with questions via email, and the team that delivers are friendly and helpful. I recently had an interaction with one of the delivery guys named Kai. He did such a great job that I was compelled to write this review! Last month our rented water dispenser stopped dispensing water, when Kai came to deliver I asked him if there's something we could do immediately to fix it. He shared common issues that may happened and was able to get the water going that day. A week went by and the same issue happened again, I reached out via email to Aloha Water and received an immediate response letting me know that they will come by to replace a part that they believed was causing the issue. Kai came in the next day! To replace it and again provide some insight to what might have happened. A couple weeks later we had the same issue and as usual I sent an email, got an immediate response, and Kai was in the next day with a new dispenser. He was able to take the old one apart and let me know exactly what happened, I asked if there was a way to prevent it and he jokingly said "drink more water". Basically the dispenser froze because we only have a team of 4 and when water is not flowing as often that area can freeze up. After installation of the new dispenser he came back to me and made a suggestion. He said he will be back with another part that could help prevent it from happening again. To me that suggestion was going above and beyond service. He didn't have to help prevent anything! he got us a working dispenser and that could have been good enough. But the fact that he took the extra step and had some foresight was really showing he cared. I didn't want to write this review but if this helps their company become better, then I want to voice my opinion. The reason I joined this service was because the woman who signed me up assured me my water bottles would be delivered in an enclosed vehicle. Their bottles are not BPA free (unless you order alkaline) so having the sun beam on your bottles while they drive to deliver (and my house is far from the company) is not in your best interest. I have seen the other competitors and they deliver in an enclosed temperature controlled vehicle. I think this should be mandatory for all water services (it is contradicting to be driving around with water in the hot and heat of Hawaii!) Fast forward to a year later when my work schedule changes and I catch them delivering my water in an open bed vehicle. I call and complain and another lady assures me that this was a mistake and will never happen again. But who knows how long they have been doing this before without me knowing???? You know how the story ends up... I catch them again delivering it in an open bed truck. It wasn't only this mishap. I have given them many other chances as well. I asked to increase my bottle by one (easy, right?). I had to call back when I didn't receive it the next delivery... then the next... then the next. When the customer rep was looking up my account, she saw in the notes that I called four times to increase my bottle delivery! If it is in my notes, then why wasn't anything done? I wanted to love their service, I truly did, which is why I gave them so many chances. People make mistakes, but this was just over the top disregard for any of my requests. I gave them my time, money, and effort. I have never had so much miscommunication and lack of follow through with a company before. I gave them two stars because they do have a few great customer service reps. read more

Ok so I just called Aloha Water for a quote. Great customer service and good prices, until I was quoted deposit for the cooler, deposit for each bottle, delivery, monthly fee for the water, monthly fee for the cooler. It ended up to be 122.00 to start up and only 36.00 a month, which is great but they need a flat rate system or a system that works better. The process of the bottles, to the delivery, to the deposits, is soooooooooo confusing. I think flat membership rates pertaining to how many bottles would be less overwhelming. When hearing all the fees it becomes cumbersome. I think I will go with them but their system needs a little improvement. read more

Their delivery guys are very polite and will go out of their way to carry our water up a flight of stairs to our office!!! Signing up for Aloha water delivery was the best decision my husband and I ever made. We got a cooler set up with Alkaline water that we used for our coffee and for mixed flavored beverages. And for a bonus we get purified water delivered in bottles at the same time that I can take with me to my workout classes and for my outdoor runs. The best part is I no longer have to go to Costco and tote in all the water and we never run out. Shopped around for water delivery service because I was tired of buying bottled water and lugging it home and then keeping track of the bottles and taking it to the recycling center. I emailed several places and Aloha Water Company emailed me back right away with a price list. Another water company emailed me back and it said to call their business for more info. Sometimes you just rather look at a price list before even speaking to someone. When I called Aloha Water Company the staff there were super helpful and nice. Great customer service. They signed me up right away and my bottles were delivered the very next day while also following specific delivery instructions as to where to place them in my garage. A week later I called them back to request more 5 gallon jugs of water Because my original order turned out to be not enough for my household that I thought it would be. They were more then friendly and willing to accommodate me. They even delivered the 2 extra 5 gal jugs I ordered that very same day! Great customer service and the water genuinely tastes great! There is another water company that is well known on island and I hate the way the water tastes. It tastes like plastic to my family and I. Throughout the time I've used their services, more often than not my monthly delivery either didn't happen or they managed to screw up some aspect of it. We own a property in Ewa Beach and are currently renting it out, which makes it hard to deal with problems long distance. About two years ago we had a leak from our water softner, which was installed by Aloha Water. We had a plumber come out to fix it, the leak happened from wear and tear no big deal we paid the plumber and figured all was well. However, just recently it started leaking again and the same plumber that came out before said it was the fault of Aloha Water's installation. Of course since he was a reputable plumber I took his word and was upset thinking it was Aloha Water's fault on how they installed it because that's what my plumber said. (BTW the plumber wanted to charge me over $2,000 to fix this "problem"). Man was I WRONG. It turned out it wasn't ALOHA WATER's fault it was my plumbers!!! After talking with Dan from Aloha Water, he went above and beyond to get to my property that same day we spoke to find out what the problem was and why it was leaking. He was ready to take on any responsibility if there was some installation issue. Come to find out it was not Aloha Water's fault at all, but the fault of the plumber we were using on his shoddy repair job two years ago. Dan came back and did the repair in 1 hours time and took numerous pictures, videos and explained everything step by step to me long distance sending multiple emails that I forwarded to my property manager. He also took the time to educate my new tenants on how to use the softner and what to look for. He took incredible care of us and it was so comforting to know, being so far away, that he had our backs. The best part was that he didn't try to charge me an arm and a leg for the repair. He was extremely fair with his repair fee after this whole ordeal which really helped!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Dan and the team at Aloha Water. It is really nice to know there are still people out there that are not just trying to make a buck and really do care about customers and value your business.
