The detailing job is phenomenal. However, I would firmly seek an alternative option because; the SERVICE at 1st Class Details is HORRENDOUSLY UNRELIABLE! I speak from about 5-6 experiences over 18 months' time. You will have your appointment changed multiple times, will be unable to reach anyone via phone call or text. You will get ignored and then filled with excuses for days. VERY very flaky and UNDEPENDABLE. Also, his shop is always in a new location so speaking to him in person isn't an option. First, I have had my car professionally cleaned many times and this was by far the worst job I have…read moreever seen someone do. I scheduled an appointment for the premium service. We brought the car in as soon as they were open but by 5 pm it still wasn't done. We came back at 6 after they had technically closed and I couldn't believe what a horrible job they did, especially the outside. Half the car wasn't even washed let alone waxed but the worker talked to the owner and they didn't charge me for the exterior. But when I got my car home I realized what a bad job they did on the inside too. I waited to see if the owner would call me to try and remedy the situation but after a week or so I was forced to call him myself. He said that they would redo the job and even pick my car up and we scheduled another appointment for a week and half out. I thought well we'll see if he is an honorable businessman. But he flaked on me and never did the work. He did call me at the end of the day and give me some excuse but he only seems to have excuses and no solutions. When I was talking to one of the workers she told me that he routinely overbooks work so it's no surprise that they can't finish.

The test drive wasn't chaperoned by dealers and the agreed price (for another Subaru) was "out the door" with none of the usual paperwork charge add-ons. The great thing was that she drove me home after I dropped off the car and then delivered the car to my Mom once it was finished, which really helped us out. Went in for a touchless car wash. Paid $20 for the 'better' wash. 1 step below the best…read more The reason I did the touchless is that my vehicle has some under trim parts that are loose. The wash was a good one, and now the van is very clean. I do think that car washes are unreasonably expensive, in general. $20 for a spray is high. That said, it's close to the house, and at least my vehicle has all the road salt/sand and winter nastiness off of it. Until I head back West and get it dirty again in the slush.
