When the nurse assistant came into the room to take the swab, he never confirmed our child's name or information. My wife immediately noticed that the test container had the wrong name on it, but instead of correcting it on the spot, it seems it was left as is. Now, more than 48 hours later, we still do not have any test results. Each time we called to follow up and explained that the name was wrong on the container, we were told the same generic response: "test results take 24 to 48 hours." Not once did anyone take ownership of the mistake or provide a clear answer on whether our son's test was actually processed correctly. As first time parents, this situation has caused a lot of unnecessary stress and worry. Accuracy and proper communication should be the most basic standards in pediatric care, especially when testing an infant for RSV. Instead, we left feeling ignored and brushed off, without confidence in the care or the system in place. Parents trust facilities like this with their children's health, and unfortunately our trust has been completely shaken by this experience. If you do bring your child here, double check every label, name, and detail before allowing them to proceed, because clearly the staff does not.

I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person.
