I recently purchased a 40 year old house where the prior owner of 20 years had a cat. Before moving in, but after doing new flooring, painting, popcorn ceiling removing, I decided to have the ducts and furnace cleaned. I had never done that at any place I lived before but i am so glad I did. They found an old mouse in the furnace so he cleaned that up and sanitized the system at no extra cost. He recorded a few before and after videos and WOW! Eww! They also scrub and vacuum all the vent covers and intake covers. My house is unoccupied and I didn't stay for the service so I can't speak to it being messy or not. I've already shared their info with a friend and plan to tell more people. Scheduling was super easy, I did it through Yelp, and he called me twice the day of to update me on the arrival time which was super helpful since I was originally given a 3 hour window. I have a husky who sheds a lot so now that I know how dirty the systems can get, I bet I'll use them again. Hired this company to come out for a chimney sweep & inspection after they did an air duct job at my house about a year ago. Chimney sweep was performed but not really an "inspection" If you know you have a working fireplace setup and simply need a good clean with good customer service I would hire this company. If you have a more complicated job and need a fire pro to come out and "certify" the chimney & need more detailed work completed as far as fireplace mechanics , I would look at a different company. Alerted by my fire department of a chimney fire on 12/16/20, I contacted Air Duct Int. and they responded quickly to clean my chimney within 5 days. The men that arrived were professional but, based on results, not chimney sweep-skilled, as they did not do any work from the top-down--only from within the house. I had contacted the company that we normally use but they couldn't show up for another 4 weeks and when they did arrive, they pulled nearly twice as much creosote out of my chimney that Air Duct Int pulled out. I feel I dodged a bullet that another chimney fire didn't occur before my regular sweeps arrived do to the job properly Based on the quality of work I got for their chimney sweeping service, I'll not be using them to clean my air ducts. read more
