It's pretty comprehensive- you pull up into the parking spots and unload. There are directive signs above each opening that tells you where to put what. I had about 15 cardboard boxes that needed to be recycled and it was nice being able to take them out and forget about them. Helping the environment is always a plus in my book. Plus they have an area for plastic bags! Make sure you break your boxes down before dropping them off :)

Even with the craziness of collecting old trash cans and delivering new service to us, their customer service has picked up the phone right away. They are friendly, helpful, and good to their word. I love this. Our new trash cans are still 95 gallons, but they are a little taller and narrower, which I like. We have had very high winds, and they have not tipped over at all. Great job!

Recycle Works is a convenient option for homeowners near the shopping/restaurant area at Highway 94 and Mid Rivers Mall Drive. It takes a wide range of household and office items. Check the website: You might be surprised at what you can drop off. Fluorescent lightbulbs, clothing, cooking oil, microwave ovens, and VHS tapes are less common recyclables the center takes. Two very common materials not accepted: styrofoam and plastic bags. Recycle Works has minimal charges for small appliances, electronics, and other items. However, I've left those items and fees weren't collected. The center accepts hazardous waste on scheduled days throughout the year. Check the website for dates and acceptable materials.

The line was starting to back up for a drop off, and he checked in with each car to see what was needed. He was able to route people to the correct spot to shorten the wait time. I pulled into the bay and Bryan and another worker unloaded my aluminum items quickly, and brought me my receipt to go to the cashier. The cashier handed me my money and the whole transaction happened rapidly. Bryan went above and beyond helping me, as he even offered to recycle the cardboard lining my vehicle. He also shared that the company is doing a coat drive until December 31. Highly recommend Didion Orf!

I took a load of stripped copper there today and the weight of my truck with the skid in the back…read morewas 6620 and when I checked out they said it was only 6420 and that I only brought in 220 pounds of copper. I questioned the weight they had a guy go back and looked at the pile and he said he put it in a scale and showed me a pic that was only I think 158 pounds and said I got a deal I know that I had 400 plus pounds but they already dumped it off the skid so I was screwed so buyer beware you would probably be better off taking your scrap someplace else. What also was strange was tars on my truck was 120 pounds lighter today than yesterday I could understand a few pounds but not 120 pounds
