HIGHLY recommend. I couldn't be more grateful to Saad. I had chopped off all my hair (myself) the night before finding Saad. I put it up in a tight ponytail, took kitchen scissors, then went at it all in one fell swoop. I did it without looking in a mirror and without a vision for what I wanted it to look like. It was liberating and I don't regret it, but the next morning I took a good look at what I had done and knew it needed to be fixed. I googled hair salons and barber shops in the area, and many showed up, with Saad's business being one of the options. All of the customer reviews were positive so I decided to take a chance on him, and boy was it one of the BEST decisions I've made in a while. I called Saad and explained my situation, and he graciously found time to take me as a walk in shortly after I called. The angels watching over me must be extra dedicated to their job, because my whole experience couldn't have been more perfect. We had a laugh about what I had done to my hair, and then I gave him total liberty to cut it however he thought would look best. The results have not only left my hair looking extremely healthy, but has also made my world look so much brighter than before. I would recommend Saad for all things hair, whether it be a trim or a big chop. As you can see from the photos, the haircut he gave me has been life changing. Thank you thank you THANK YOU Saad!!!! I hadn't had a haircut in a year because of Covid-19 and my barber of 40 years in new York City had closed his shop. My wife was making threats if I didn't take some steps to tame my shaggy hair and beard. I read Saad's reviews on this website and they looked so good I decided to give him the "big job". I could not be more pleased! Working from a photo of how I used to look a year ago, he gave me an exceptionally fine haircut and beard trim, a perfect job in my opinion and more importantly in my wife's opinion. I went to Saad's barbershop today. All I can say is the experience was excellent. I haven't had a haircut in a while and he told me I was going to have the best haircut I've ever had in my life, internally, I kind of chuckled with that. Anyhow, he did cut my hair and it came out very nice and sharp at the shop and he showed me how to brush it and how to wear it and how he had to fix it. it had been three years since I had a real haircut at a barber. I was like OK looks like a good haircut but later I saw myself passing a mirror and it's a GREAT haircut. THANKS Saad! As a Bard College student, I was on the hunt to find a barber up here after moving away from my old barbershop. Saad was recommended by a couple of other students and I only heard good things. Every single expectation was lived up to if not surpassed. Saad is incredible with his trimming skills, he gave me a beautiful taper and dealt with my cowlick better than any other barber or stylist has. I've know Saad for 14 years, I've been out of the area for the last seven of those. I've lived in SoCal, NJ & Philly and in those years I've been hard pressed to find someone with the skill that Saad has, 7 years, think about that, 7 years of so-so haircuts. Today I finally was able to stop in and get a great haircut by an artist. I usually don't leave a glowing review unless it's warranted, it is definitely warranted. From my observations, he treats every customer's hair with extreme care and attention, taking whatever time is necessary to produce the perfect cut. I showed them a picture of a very obtainable haircut but they just ignore and start doing their own thing, never in the middle of the cut have they asked to see the picture again or what they're planning to do to confirm with me. They just cut your hair watch whatever is on the Tv and mingle with the other barbers or people in the vicinity, paying no attention to your hair. If you have hair that you really care about and you've been growing it out for a certain cut they will mess it up. They're good at fades and more older style cuts but for young people with curls, textured hair, mullets and all these other "newer" haircuts there are other shops who can better service you.
