I was a patient of Dr. Alloju/Fairweather/Frankenstein as a college kid. I'd been struggling with…read moredepression and anxiety since I was 15, and now at 20 the consequences of these conditions were having a disastrous affect on my school performance. I went to this doctor because I needed help. I felt like an outsider looking in, trying but failing to be a Human Normal. I hated myself with fury and fire. And I didn't want to want to die, but I certainly longed for an eternal reprieve from the pain. So I went to a doctor. I was in school in Brooklyn but grew up in Texas, and as I was home for the holidays, I started seeing Dr. Alloju. I didn't know the far-reaching and indelible mark this would leave on my life, changing the course completely. I was a bright kid. I read constantly. A bit of a nerd. A writing major. I wanted to write plays and movies. But here's what happened instead: After talking to me for 45 minutes and barely listening, this woman diagnosed me as having Bipolar II Disorder. I wasn't that upset about it because I thought, well maybe she's right and maybe she can help me. Over the course of the next year, culminating in a near-death experience, I was put on these medications concurrently: Lamictal 400mg, Seroquel 350mg, Klonopin 2mg twice daily, and to cap it all off, Geodon 80mg. This is enough medication to sedate an obese elephant. I was 20 years old, 5'2 and 107 lbs. I had to drop out of college because I almost died from this demented drug cocktail. That was a long time ago and I'm still angry. I'm still angry that it took me 10 more years before I was properly diagnosed as ADHD and on the autism spectrum. I didn't need to be on those drugs. I just didn't. When I told her they weren't working, she'd just increase the dosages. Once, during a phone session, she said I sounded drunk and went a step further to label me as an alcoholic. I didn't really drink at the time; my words were slurred because of the sedating medication. The irony, of course, is that Dr. Alloju has multiple DUIs and was on some sort of probation while treating me. I only have flashbulb memories from an entire year of my life. Apparently I almost died from an overdose of these medications. It took many years to try and get my life back from this monster. This is all to say, this woman will destroy your mind, body, and spirit. And she almost ended my life. What she did to me was criminal. Not just malpractice, although it was also that, but it was a deeply immoral negligence and breach of trust. At least if she *had* killed me she might not be practicing to this day. Stay. Away.

I'm always greeted and my appointments with Arzu are always on time. Sometime, Dr Kazi is a few minutes late but never rushed. both seem to listen intently and provide feedback and suggestions. If you truly need help this is NOT the place to go. They will cause MORE distress in your life than…read moreyou came with. This is the most despicable center for mental health I have ever encountered. Let's start with the turnover. Extremely high! You cannot count on accuracy and continuity of care whatsoever. I have seen 4 different providers within the span of 6 months. Two weeks after my initial appointment the NP that I met with left the practice. Medications were not sent in so I had to call and request them. Getting your medication is a whole other story. It can take up to a week to get your medication sent over to the pharmacy. You will be playing phone tag with them daily. Punctuality is null and void. Every single appointment I had I waited no less than 30 minutes to be seen by a provider. Mind you two visits were televisits so you're just sitting there waiting, on camera. The tardiness and inability to be punctual caused me to be late returning to work each occurrence. Following an incorrect medication refill I noted a new provider on the medication sent to my pharmacy. (Provider number 4) Also the medication sent was not what was agreed upon previously by Dr. Kazi. I called into the office to ask why was the medication different and prescribed differently and was told because the new provider did not know me I was only given a certain amount of anxiety medication. Re emphasizing the lack of continuity of care. Lastly, my last appointment with Mid Cities was October 2025 with Dr. Kazi. Follow up scheduled for December 2. As I unexpectedly began a new job Dec 1st my new insurance would not be effective until Jan 2026. I called to cancel the December 2 appointment. Here we are in the new year 2026. It is January 8th. I called to make an appointment and give my updated insurance. Of course no one answered the phone so I left a message. I received a return call from an assistant (Josh I believe) who said that I had been discharged from the facility as a patient for "non-adherence"and that I "should have received a discharge letter in the mail." I asked Josh what was the non-adherence and he said he would have to "look into it" and get back to me. I'm very interested in what non adherent information he will provide. Fortunately, as a nurse for the past 12 years, I keep very precise and detailed documentation. I have every receipt and document you could think of. Even my PCP appointments are recorded with AI. What a disgrace and disservice you are doing to patients and the community with your blatant lies. You may have gotten off with this with a lay person who doesn't know any better but I've got news for you today. The amount of pain and suffering you have caused me is monumental.

What sets Solstice apart is their willingness to listen and learn.... Instead of trying to force patients through some canned one size fits all program, they are ready and willing to make adjustments for each individual to ensure constant progress.... Solstice has been a godsend and the proof is in the progress.... Our daughter's incurable mental health diagnosis had to be changed (upgraded).... Why...? The symptoms are gone.... Could they come back....? Sure, if she started making poor dietary and lifestyle choices again.... But thanks to what she's learned at Solstice, those choices are no longer of any interest to her.... Prior to Solstice, we were beginning to look at lifelong adult care.... Now our daughter is sending out resumes to gradually return to the workforce as a productive and soon to be self-reliant member of a community.... Has it been perfect....? NO! The Solstice Southwest staff dietitian still doesn't understand Paleo or Keto, but thanks to our daughter's Case Manager and other staff members, we got over this hurdle.... Bottom Line: I sent a stranger to Solstice and in return I I got my daughter back....

We have been coming here well over a year now, and I stand by them. The staff is always professional and kind and such an inviting atmosphere. I have called in many times for advice, and never once did anyone instruct me to give my daughter over the counter medicine for a serious concern nor have I ever been told to wait a couple days before coming in. But I am also kind and respectful when I call. No matter what profession you are in, people are not apt to help you if you are rude. At one point the front office had a sign that stated people can leave if they were going to be rude. I didn't care for the sign, but clearly they have a reoccurring issue with some of the patients being unkind otherwise they wouldn't have put that sign up there..
