We are staying at Geronimo Village for a few weeks and find the RV Park perfect for our needs…read more We find the owner Ron and Kevin the Park electrical guru to be very friendly. I had an issue with my RV and Kevin graciously repaired my system. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily. The doors are secured by a coded door. Geronimo Village is located close to stores and a few restaurants. Toledo Ben is a few miles away and Sabine River at Logansport, La is about a Mile from the RV Park. The Park is kept clean and mowed weekly. I find the groundskeeper and his family to be very cautious of your RV and Harley while mowing and weed eating. All in all we are pleased with our stay. We made a late reservation the same day and the office ensured we had information for our late night check in to one of the camping cabins. It was a relief to arrive there after a long stressful day of driving to a cool and comfortable spot. If you're ever passing through Shreveport and need a cute camping spot, check it out.

Great Overnight Stay at Shreveport/Bossier City KOA…read more We had a fantastic experience at the Shreveport/Bossier City KOA! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with friends, and the office employee went out of her way to get us neighboring sites--huge plus! The sites themselves were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with full hookups. Each site had two drain hose connections, which is super helpful for different camper setups. We stayed in a gravel site, which was surprisingly level and included a concrete walkway and a patio with a table and chairs. Some sites are concrete, so there's a nice mix depending on your preference. Though this KOA is on the smaller side and the turns can be a bit tight, our 51-foot truck and camper combo had no issues navigating. The campground is just off I-20 with wide streets leading in, making access easy and stress-free. If we ever need a place to camp overnight in Shreveport, this will be our go-to spot. Highly recommend!

I felt totally safe there and that made the high price worth it. They also had more amenities than other RV parks including a super clean laundry room, swimming pool and showers. There were two or three additional buildings in excellent condition for group meetings, etc. They have a once a month group event. It was a barbecue pot-luck in July and an ice-cream social in August. My only real complaint was that the free internet was totally lame. They offered a paid version, but I didn't try it so I can't say about that. However, at the prices they charge, I thought the free version should have been better.
