The service was pretty slow, however once I spoke to a server they were helpful to correct the issue with service. The menu is a QR code so just not prices are found on the QR code link not the actual menu. The street tacos were flavorful and steak was tender. Upon arrival we were seated right away as they weren't too busy. The outside is small and unassuming, the inside is colorful without a whole lot of decor. The food? All I could think about was the word "flavorful" because WOW, it was absolutely delicious. We started with the flight of dips they call the Best One and the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and the guacamole was possibly fresher, you could just tell! The lime margarita was simple, but tasty. The Spicy Steven Special was delicious, and with the veggies in it, was even better. (Not too spicy but incredibly soaked in the queso (YUM)). Lastly, the Steak Chimichanga was out of this world delicious. Meat was so good and so flavorful. I've never had a steak Chimi before, but I think it's safe to say I'm totally into it thanks to Sabor Guacamole! Overall a fantastic first time visit. We will definitely be back. One of the few places open for Sunday dinner in this part of the state. Good legit Mexican food. We are from Houston, and are always cautious of getting Mexican food "out of state". Got the mango jalapeño margaritas. Holy mackerel they were SPICY HOT! Right away we knew we found a legit place. Packed a punch! We had to drink with a straw as our lips burned after a few sips!! Got the queso flameado with chorizo as an appetizer. Another hit! Came to the table "on fire". Then the server mixed it together for us and placed in flour tortillas. Outstanding! I could have gone home happy after the drinks and queso! I ordered the steak quesadilla. Would have liked more cheese in my quesadilla. Another dish was the fish tacos. Comes with grilled talapia and white rice. Super good. Another meal was the 3 meat fajitas: beef, shrimp and chicken. Two thumbs up. Final plate was the cheese and beef enchiladas. I've never ordered fajitas from any restaurant before that didn't come with tortillas, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole or pico. These fajitas came with NONE of it. Also, no chips and salsa with my order. Even though I ordered a side of guacamole... I got NO chips to eat it with. I've now been here a few times and I can say it's not that bad, while at the same time not amazing. First off - get either the guacamole or the queso (both are great). Afterwards I can't really say any one thing is better than another. Nothing I've tried has "wowed" me, additionally though nothing has left me regretting my decision to visit. Service: friendly & prompt (but not a lot of customers & it was peak time for lunch) Atmosphere: much better than previous place (no visible flies). Refurbished bathrooms are nice. Taco was greasy, enchiladas were pretty small with rice being the biggest portion on the plate. They were also dry. The beef taco meat has a distinct flavor I can't pinpoint. Tried this place on a whim! Kinda Divey from outside. Seat yourself on a mid afternoon Saturday lunch (1:30). Sat out on small patio which has about 10 tables. Several other tables arrived a little after us and the place seemed to only have two people working the tables . Very polite in service just very slow. Ordered large guacamole which had a very nice kick or heat to it! Somewhat chunky. Enjoyed it very much. Ordered a medium Dos Equis lager which is probably 16 oz. ordered the taco Champi which comes as a choice of chicken or steak with grilled onions, mushrooms and cheese served on choice of flour or corn tortillas. I got two mixed tacos. Complimentary salsa and chips, salsa just ok as it was bland but had good sized chunks of onions and tomatoes. Happy hour- all day Tuesday and Thursday with $2 margaritas. Sabor Guacamole has been a happy food break during isolation. They do have delivery available. Their large cheese dip mighty tasty and is a bargain - I was able to stretch it out across three days last time I ordered delivery from them. I'd put their cheese dip at a top-five in Northwest Arkansas. We are a low carb / keto household and they have several dishes that are very easy to modify and make low carb. A lot of Tex-Mex restaurants in the area are the same but I would put Sabor Guacamole a notch above those. I can't wait to go back an inside and dine in once the social distancing period is over. read more

We have been regular customers of this little place for several years. The food is good. Margs are not so good, Salsa varies from straight tomato paste to decent some days. Unfortunately, they have recently decided to raise prices to the point that it is no longer a good value. On our last visit, we were given a menu with prices on it, upon paying for our meals, both meals were charged more than the menu prices which were already much higher than a few months ago. Recently they were passing out menus with no prices ( I was told that was an error by the printer.... yeah right!) My wife and I will no longer be customers of this restaurant. There are too many good choices for Mexican food in the area to bother with this one any longer. read more

The food is good but not great. But I found myself always going back. I don't love the salsa but the queso and the stephen special is good. Their margaritas though were the best. So cheap.
