This place is a little more expensive version of Qdoba. The building you can tell at one time was nice, now it's outdated and found wanting. Bring your fly swatter. Very disappointed! Ordered a steak quesadilla & the guy walked away & came back with a pound of cheese on the tortilla that I didn't even ask for! I said is that mine? Because I thought he was doing another order along side mine so I had him take some off, then I asked for potatoes & he put 4 on it, no lie it was 4! I had to ask for more. I got chicken, same thing it was very little food but tons of cheese on everything! At this point I was just done so I got a cheese quesadilla with a few other sides in it. Be careful if you place a catering order at the Fayetteville, AR location. In January I ordered a taco bar for 30 people to be delivered to an event happening in April in Fayetteville, AR. I gave Nick my credit card number and trusted that my spot was secure. 3 days before the event Nick called and said they had a 'situation' and asked if we could pick it up instead. I said no, I asked for delivery because we had no one to pick it up. So he asked if they could deliver it an hour early since they're unable to deliver it at the time I reserved 3 MONTHS ago. I agreed since I didn't have much of a choice. Fortunately I was able to find someone who could pick up our order so that my event attendees wouldn't have to eat guacamole that had been sitting out for an hour. I can recommend the food at the Flying Burrito Co. in Fayetteville, AR. Everything was delicious. But I cannot recommend their catering service. No matter how far in advance you place your order, there is no guarantee they will deliver. I'm not sure what the reason was but since I got bumped 3 days before my event I have a feeling a larger order came in and it was given priority despite the fact I had reserved that time slot months in advance. Flying Burrito has been a favorite of mine for years. I was born and raised in NWA but now live on the west coast. This is always a stop when I come back to visit. I was devastated to find out today that the Springdale location has permanently closed. However, I was thrilled that this location still exists. They did have a sign asking for customers to have patience because they are short staffed, so I don't know how long this location will last either. I hope they make it through this because I love coming here! I regularly go to Qdoba for their nachos but I think the nachos here are even better. You get enough food to feel full for most of the day! All the ingredients taste fresh and are available when requested. I've only ever gotten nachos here, but they are always excellent. I've heard good things about their burritos as well. I hope Flying Burrito will stick around for years to come, I'll be checking back in on my next trip back to NWA! read more

Flying Burrito has long been my favorite burrito place but this last visit was not quite up to the usual standard. While the food is still good the food could have been hotter and the fillings drained better. By the time I was 2/3 the way down the burrito it was so wet and soupy I almost wanted to stick a straw in it to suck up all the liquid and stop it running all over my hands. Don't get me wrong, the food tastes great, the staff are always polite and friendly and I would still recommend you to go here if you want a good burrito. Place is sorta run down. Picture frames all askew, steak was super chewy, and it doesn't look like staff wear hairnets or clean the kitchen. Like Subway for burritos (but actually good... no yoga mat bread here)! They have every filling you can imagine for burritos, tacos, rice bowls and nachos. I had a HUGE burrito with very creamy refried beans, rice, veggies, queso, and lettuce- it was perfecto! The salsa really sealed the deal for me, as I'm picky when it comes to salsa. The "hot" version was flavorful, slightly spicy and NOT chunky, hallelujah! I will definitely be coming back... the combinations are endless and I really want to make some epic nachos :) read more

Never had a bad experience with this location. It's very straight forward and they have a variety of tortilla and condiment options. The burritos are always tasty as well as filling. The rice bowls are like an open-faced burrito that you can roll up the moment you get bored of the openness. The ingredients are always well stocked and fresh. Flying Burrito has catered our quarterly lunches at work twice in the last year and half. The food has been good and service has been efficient even serving an entire plant. I have already left one bad review of the Springdale facility after a bad experience. This was our experience tonight. Service was slow, took 10-15 minutes to get through the line and we were 5th and 6th in line. Servers were obviously not paying attention because I noticed that they messed up over 6 orders while we were there, what a waste of food. When we paid, we ordered a fried pie. We were told it would take several minutes to prepare. We were fine with that considering we had not even sat down to eat our meal yet. When we picked up our food and went to sit down, ALL of the tables were extremely dirty. I mean food dried and crusty on the surface. The place was not even half full of customers. Food was disappointing. We both ordered taco salads. The bowls were not even filled to the top of the shell and cost $8 each. Our ice water was warmer than the food. Ok, so I'm exaggerating here but not by much. The food was literally room temperature maybe Slightly over. The queso was not even warm. The chips were stale and hard. When we finished our not so great taco salads I went back to the line for our fried pie. Waited for a group of four to finish their orders and pay before I was asked if I needed assistance. I enquired about our pie and was told it was going to take at least 10 minutes. My response was we ordered it 15 minutes ago. At which point, what I assume was a manager came up. She offered to make the pie or give me a refund. Considering our experience so far was so poor, I chose the refund so that we could just get out of there. We had already been there well over 45 minutes. The positive, had paper towels and soap in bathroom. This is strike two for flying burrito for us, at two separate facilities. Is it possible to be in the same town, just across town, the same restaurant and the food to be that much different? Unfortunately, yes. Flying Burrito on College Avenue has plenty of work to do when it comes to the freshness of their food. In my visit to this location I tried two Chicken tacos ( on flour tortilla. I would much rather have corn tortillas) with several different toppings. The chicken was cold, old, and bland. The same can be said for the corn and additionally the lettuce was not fresh. My last point is that the overall place was not as clean and had a bad smell in it, which made consuming the food that much tougher. Overall, it could have just been a bad day for this location. My reco at these places obviously is to also steer away from the tacos and get a burrito instead, hints why it's called Flying Burrito.... read more

This was my first Flying Burrito experience and it was a good one. I had the veggie quesadilla and it was made fresh (of course) with TONS of filling. Super thick, hot and thoroughly toasted in their press. A very impressive tasty & filling lunch for around six bucks. Friendly enthusiastic staff and reasonably clean dining room. I see other reviews mentioning dirty restaurant or bad smell and we encountered none of that even though our visit was during a peak time.
