Of course I was craving Mexican food when I was in the area so I stopped her for a great lunch that I wasn't expecting. Got seated in a hurry and was served complimentary chips n salsa. The chips were really good and hot love the thin chips. The salsa was decent I also got the tomatillo salsa which has a great kick to it. I ordered the ground beef chimichanga. This is a great Mexican restaurant. They have a very friendly wait staff and a nice atmosphere but I don't focus as much on those things as I do the food. I had the chicken fajita burrito and it was amazing. Okay, amazing doesn't do it justice. I burnt my mouth on it because I didn't want to wait for it to cool down before eating it. It was that good. This little gem of a spot is hidden off the main strip in Farmington. Come find it and enjoy! read more

Wow!!! Exceptionally good food. Outstanding service. Food was very hot when it came to the table and was served promptly. We had a dip with rice, taco meat and their amazing cheese sauce (we had them leave off the pico), Enchilados locos with steak, and the pollo Mexicano. My husband got the tacos carne asada & I got the chicken fajitas & we got a side of queso. They were fresh, seasoned very well & very reasonably priced. I cannot stress how much our family likes this place. The cheese dip is the best in the area. I've had almost every dish on the menu and I've never been disappointed. 100% THE BEST TAMALES on earth! The tamales aren't your run of the mill fingers of death with wolf brand chili on top the other places around here serve. These things are the size of small burritos and loaded with meat and love. The only recommendation I'd give would be to add a spicy red salsa option in addition to the current tasty red salsa they have with chips. Also, I want my chuletas back! 10/10. read more

New to NWA from California and have been looking for a go-to Mexican place. Have tried upwards of 10 other places with varying levels of disappointment before finding Agave. This place is wonderful. The Chile Poblano (Relleno) is outstanding in all three varieties, as is the Pollo Mexicano. The steak fajitas are also a favorite. Since finding this pace, we have eaten there probably 5 times in two weeks and every time is great. The service is prompt, accurate with orders and very friendly. I only wish it was closer, but it is well worth the drive to Farmington. Looking forward to trying even more dishes from there. read more

Kind of a long story but, I ordered through grub hub to have it delivered and then called papa johns and ordered a pizza for my wife. 45 or so minutes go by and as I'm looking at the location on yelp for my driver it said he was in my apartment complex so I went outside and didn't see anyone, well about ten minutes go by and I get a call saying my order is here so I go to pick it up and it's the papa johns pizza so I think okay grub hub should be calling me soon with MY food. Well right when I get inside I check the app and it says my food was delivered, clearly papa johns is not agaves so I call grub hub they said they wouldn't refund it and don't know what happened, so I call papa Johns and they said yes they sent the pizza with a grub hub driver so my guess is that the driver picked up both agaves and papa Johns and kept the agaves for himself, I call agaves and explain and the manager apologized and told me they would make the order and I could come pick it up myself, a little frustrated but not mad at anyone but grub hub. I got the big chicken quesadilla and chips and cheese, the food was definitely worth the trouble of getting it so if you're thinking of going here do it. It's a good business clean inside nice people and great food. Thanks for fixing the order agaves! I'll be back! read more

I hate to leave a 1 star review but this is more for grub hub as we never received our food. We ordered through grub hub in the yelp app and received an email saying our order was received. Then we got a notification that our order was ready. We waited at least 45 minutes in the drive thru line. Got up to the window and they couldn't find our order. When we said it was through Grub Hub the girl said they hadn't received any grub hub orders all day. That was it. No sorry. No offer to make it right. THEN I sat on hold for an hour with grub hub support to get a refund which won't be credited to my account for 3-5 business days. I might try this restaurant when they open for dining again because I've heard the food is excellent, but I certainly won't order this way again. read more

I was sad to see the last place at this location go. However, I am thrilled with this new restaurant! Cheese dip is fantastic, not so runny that it will end up down the front of your shirt like most Mexican restaurants in the area serve it(watered down to cut costs.) The salsa was yummy and had a lot of flavor. Both my husband's(steak) and I's(chicken) meals were fantastic and my son found exactly what he wanted on the kids menu. I will definitely return and I would encourage you to give them a try. You won't be disappointed! Oh and they celebrate birthdays. read more
