    Brazilian cheesesteak
    Eileen M.

Sabor is located inside Ferry Market in New Hope, PA. There's plenty of seating inside and outside the market area. The food is fresh and delicious! I gave them 4/5 stars only because their menu board is hung high above the counter, confusing and literally difficult to read. The couple ordering before me was struggling as well and I listened as they read the choices aloud. We decided to try the Brazilian cheesesteak, shrimp stew with sides of roasted potato and fried bananas and a chicken pastel. But I loved the food and the smiling service!

Located conveniently at the Ferry Market in New Hope PA you'll find Sabor. It is Brazilian food with a touch of American. The steak is out of this world. Loved the skewers and the burger was so good, ordered another one. Everything was well seasoned. The flavors were exploding! So good. We had the cheese bread too it was really good. I will definitely be back I want to try the desserts next time! Wishing much success!

Love this new addition to Ferry Market! So far I've had the Chicken Pastel, fries with cheese, Philly cheesesteak and the cheese ball (can't remember what that's called). All were super delicious. My husband loved that the bread for the cheesesteak was thinner and they use real steak. He was left craving another. The cheese fries are great....they layer the cheese throughout instead of just in top and the cheese is delicious (not canned). The chicken pastel was very tasty especially with the yogurt type dip they gave on the side. We will absolutely be back!

The picanha, ribeye, flank steak, and sausages were not to be missed. The salad bar also had some excellent options that made us feel a little better about gorging on fatty meats, too. Personally, when it comes to all you can eat grillin', I appreciated the wide selection of pickles and sour bites to contrast. And the cheese popovers and garlic bread? Don't be that person who "optimizes for maximum meat consumption," do something joyful with your life and get the extra buttery garlic bread, bro. We filled our plates twice, each of us. My dad had been having trouble eating, but he had some great food at Charkoal's. And again, the staff was super attentive, great with suggestions, and made sure our favorites kept coming out as we asked for them. They had a real family feel, and it made our family feel welcome at every interaction. I'll be back for sure.

Staff was great but..... Sorry Charkoal, twice was enough for us. We won't be back.

We were able to make a reservation, and the restaurant was kind enough to extend our reservation when we were delayed -- especially on one of their busiest nights of the week. Maria was exceptionally nice and helpful in making reservations. Food was delicious and enjoyable throughout all the courses. The Picanha and Beef Short Ribs were my favorites of the Rodizio. My parents split a steak entree and the salmon - the restaurant was kind enough to split both entrees on two plates for each of them. Both servings were generous. Had an Old Fashioned and a Caipirinha - both were excellent. They also have an extensive wine and whiskey menu. Service was pretty good. I would say the only hiccup was the food took forever to come, which seems strange for Rodizio. But I attribute the delay to the tardiness of two folks in our party, and a little inexperience of our server. But aside from that, he did a good job. We got to meet the manager Tatiana, who was fabulous - you can tell she cares about her craft, and the owner Joe, who was exceptionally kind and friendly. My niece and his son apparently went to the same school, so it was truly nice to make the acquaintance. I love to support small business, and it doesn't get better than this. I will make sure to stop here again soon - this was a fantastic experience.

I've heard that's common with Brazilian cuisine, but it was too salty for me. The paella was surprisingly small portion-wise compared to the way most restaurants serve it. After looking more closely at the different options, this one seemed most aligned to my parents' diet, so we decided on this. I had also asked a colleague who lives in the area about this vs another BBQ place I've visited before in the area (Pork Chops BBQ), and he had good things to say about Flemington BBQ, so I decided on this. When we arrived my parents realized they'd visited this spot before and enjoyed it. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, though some of the staff have more limited English. Still very hospitable, though, and it's a pretty good space. Lots of seating inside, casual look and feel. This place seemed similar to Clark BBQ, another place we've been to, and this one appears to have more room than the one in Clark (but prices are a bit higher). We ordered three platters - chicken, pork spare ribs, and grilled sardines - and all of the food was really good. All of the meats were nicely crisped and flavored, and the sides were good too (yellow rice, fries, veggies). I liked the food a lot, and I would go back for another meal! They also served bread to start the meal, which is a nice touch.

The owner was super friendly and outgoing. He provided lots of communication, and at the end of my time there asked how everything was. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich which came with fries. It was a delicious sandwich served on a fresh Portuguese roll. The accompanying fries were generously portioned and just the perfect amount of crispy. For future visits, I hope to explore deeper into the menu. My one critique on the place - today is a 100 degree day here in Flemington, and the restaurant's dining room was very warm. Not sure if their air conditioner broke, or they just don't have A/C.

We found out that most of the people (regulars) who usually come here are on their vacation season so it was not an issue getting a six-top reservation with only a day's notice. The restaurant is huge with at least two mega rooms downstairs and one upstairs. We actually went to the upstairs door to check in only to be told we had to go to the downstairs door and check in there. Once we did, the staff asked if we would be ok with being in the "party" room where there would be a DJ. We were fine with that and the staff was more than happy to accommodate us. Once at our table, the extensive menus made it almost too difficult to decide what we wanted. May want to consider reducing the food options here. My wife and I split a tomahawk steak. Once we ordered it, we were told we should probably move to an eight-top because we would have more space. The place was almost empty at 6:15pm on a Saturday so we got to move and give us some more room. We also had two serving of Plov, a prime NY strip, a roasted beet salad, and a chicken fingers with fries. We added some bread, too, along with some compote. The Plov was some of the best we've ever had with lots of tender meat. Both steaks were cooked to our liking. Fries were killer and the chicken fingers were fine. I did not care for the compote as I'm used to it with fruit still in the drink. At about 7pm, the DJ started but there was no separate party which is what we thought was going to show up. The DJ sang some and played up-tempo dance music but also threw in some known music like Ob-Bla-Dee Ob-Bla-Dah from the Beatles also in the dance music style. So much fun after drinking a lot of our BYOB alcohol. Service was excellent and more than accommodating for us. He even advised when we were getting ready to leave that it was raining hard and we could stay until it died down. The restaurant is colorful with lights and designs on the walls including projector lights and white linen sheets above. The place was clean and also the bathrooms on the lower rear level. $305 not including tip for six adults which included two steaks, two Plov, chicken fingers with fries, three breads, and a compote. I mention a lot with my reviews that I'd come back to a place. I really can't wait to return to Samarkand! It was just a lot of fun with excellent food and service. I hope it's just as good when the place is slammed and full.
