My tour group (5 American tourists and a local guide) stopped in for a lunch at this place. When sat down, we were served with a couple of different types of breads, olives (locally grown), cheese, and herbed butter - they were DELICIOUS!!!
Then we were served with a wonderful kale & chorizo soup. Afterwards, we had an Alcatra, which is like a beef stew, served with potatoes, cooked cabbage salad dish, and rice. First time I've had this dish, but was very impressed! For this dish, our tour guide had to call in 3-4 hours beforehand.
For dessert, I had a conde do praira, which is local flourless cake with espresso.
Everything was so great! The place looks a bit high end, and the service was great! I highly recommend it!! read more
