I went to get my eyebrows done and I've noticed the shop owner is not really in the salon anymore and it's mostly another worker. Me and my two sisters came in and we asked if the owner was there which she responded with no, We stayed and got our eyebrows done. both my sisters asked if she could fix it up a little bit and she just kept saying no because it would make their eyebrows look as certain way, and I work in the beauty, industry myself, and personally I've always learned work ethnic and been told that if the customer wants something you should be able to provide it. as long as you tell them that it's at their own risk, but once I got mines done, I don't know if she was trying to prove a point to my sisters that their eyebrows would look a certain way, but she left my eyebrows really uneven and I asked her to fix it up and she told me no so I had to come home and fix it myself and upon further inspection, she completely cut some of my eyebrow hairs and you can totally tell and it's so frustrating because my eyebrows are the one thing that I get done often and I've never had them be this bad. Also, I don't know what product she put on my face, but it made my skin break out and I have scabs in my eyebrows. I love the owner, but I just think the other wokers that are in the salon are bringing it down.

It looked like a hole in the wall with tattered chairs, peeling and discolored paint and random patches on the wall. This should have been a clue to leave but I try not to judge a book by its cover. Besides i came because reviews were very good. Unfortunately i probably should have judged it more harshly. While the staff was pleasant overall. I was also dumbfounded by their limitations. Specifically I asked for a French manicure with a chrome line and they were not able to do a chrome line. So I went with her suggestion of just a glittery line as shown below. It wasn't great looking. The lines were crooked and a bit off from the picture but not horrible. The nails also took about 2.5 hours to do. But the kicker for me was the price. This was a French full set and it costs $98. With tip I paid $110. I've never in life paid that much for such a simple design. Usually I get services that are more elaborate and the cost is usually around $85-90. But given that this is often accompanied by fruit and wine (or water) and a beautiful atmosphere it seems more than worth it. While the staff was pleasant, the atmosphere horrible and the results were mediocre, so this is definitely not a place I would visit again.

It's in between a classic and volume application. I believe the owner herself did it as she said she teaches as well. I got curled lashes that were only a little bit longer than my own (straight, nice length, doesn't curl and doesn't have a ton of volume). The application was done so thoroughly and its funny I cannot even feel the lashes. I forget they're there. I don't have a fear my real lashes will rip out either as with nail salon lashes. I was given a little lash brush for grooming as well which I never got before. I highly recommend. So excited to be 'ready roll' for my trip. Pro Tip: There's a first timer discount and also you get a coupon if you check in on the Yelp! app.
