Unfortunately I can't get past the stylist who thought I was someone else and then proceeded to go to the computer and put in my phone number to see if I was the person she thought I was. It was beyond creepy and extremely rude. Karen is her name. Maybe if she reads this she will take note that's it's extraordinarily unpleasant to go to a salon and have someone consistently question you about who you are. I took my almost 13 year old daughter in to meet with Tanya for a make up session because as a dad, that's just not my specialty. She did an excellent job with my daughter by teaching some basics and recommended she follow up for a facial cleaning. So we returned and hence this review. This experience gave my daughter a new confidence in her appearance and pride in her abilities to take care of herself. I would not recommend this salon if you are looking to get color. I walked in blonde, asked for platinum and walked out with darker hair then I walked in with after the stylist tried to fix it. I was not happy and a week later I came back for color correction since I didn't get what I asked for. Basically she stripped what she did and I'm just back to what I originally walked in with. So I paid and gave my time twice to not getting what I wanted. I was looking forward to having this be my go to salon since I just moved into the area but it failed me unfortunately. read more

We have been here several times and I love it! The staff is friendly and helpful! I usually get a blowout when I go and my hair always looks beautiful! Brittany, Karen, & Tosha have all done my hair and they all are wonderful! Brittany & Tosha have both done my daughters hair (wash, condition, dry, trim, & flat iron) and they both have done exactly jobs. Tosha did a little better job with my daughter's hair just because it had a smoother appearance when she was done.y daughter's hair is natural so it can be a little more difficult. The only down fall I found with my daughter's hair is they do not oil her scalp so I have to do that when we get home. I would give five stars but it is a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. read more

Let me just say... Caitlin is absolutely phenomenal. One of my friends recommended her to me. I walked in for a consult and she was immediately super friendly. We talked about my want for extensions and she was super helpful. After the consult SHE DID NOT PUSH ME TO PURCHASE. She actually offered me to take her card and the info and take time to think about it. She was honest and forward about the price and didn't toy with any info. She knew how bad i wanted it done and the minute she had an opening in her schedule she notified me if i wanted to move my appointment. When it came time to getting my hair done, i showed up and she was immediately ready for me... i dIdnt have to wait or anything. This woman is super fast and it wasn't a quick and careless... my hair has been colored with life. She put in my extensions and answered all my questions throughout the process. Total i spent maybe 2.5-3 hrs in the chair. Usually it take my hair 4 hours to get cut dyed and styled. I was shocked! She treats every client as a friend and how she would want her styling experience to be. I have no idea why i didn't find her sooner but I'll be her client for life because she gave me and my hair life and i don't think I'll ever be the same ! read more

Robin is the greatest! I admittedly am not the easiest to please but Robin works diligently to address all of my issues. She goes out of her way for her clients. She has to travel from Florida to service us and it is very important to be there for your scheduled appointments. I'd reschedule a doctor's appointment before missing mine with Robin. I followed Rebecca here from another salon. She has helped me with my hair since it started growing back after chemo. She has always given me an attractive 'do' from super short to now at almost shoulder length. She discusses my ideas with me and has always given me great advice, whether it was about color, highlights, or cut. Will continue to be her client. I'm super picky and tend to not really ever know what I want to do yet Caitlin always figures out what'll suit me best and creates a masterpiece every time! She's even given my oldest daughter her first haircut and did an awesome Brazilian blowout on my mom. She's a family fave! I was driving around with my kids looking for a salon where I could have my daughter's hair cut, and I saw this place from Rt 1. I walked in and asked if they could take a 7-year-old girl right now, and they were able to. My daughter wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love, and the stylist carefully measured out the length and put my daughter's hair in several pony tails so that there would be enough left over for a cute hair style after the pony tails were cut off. My daughter had never had a professional haircut before, and the stylist was friendly and gentle with her. She gave her a very stylish and modern, yet age-appropriate, haircut and spent a lot of time making it perfect. The price was a little higher than child's cut at a chain location like Fantastic Sam's, but it was well worth it, because the stylist really worked hard on my 7-year-old's hair so that it would look cute and not like a typical child's chin-length bob. I would recommend it for children and adults. read more

I have a really hard time finding a salon and stylist that is able to work with my hair but I Vincent & Vincent is absolutely amazing! I scheduled a consultation and when I went in everyone there was so sweet and willing to help me out. I was able to get an appointment the next day and when I went in the receptionist remembered me and made me feel like i was at home! Jenni styled my hair exactly the way I wanted and I couldn't be happier! She did an AMAZING job and was so much fun to talk with. The prices here are so much more reasonable then some of the other salons in the area. Definitely worth trying them out. I don't think Ill be going any where else! read more

My wife and I moved to the area 2 weeks ago and I wanted to do something special for her for Mothers Day. I called on Thursday prior to Mothers Day and set up a Monday appointment for my wife to get a manicure, pedicure, and to get her hair shampooed, colored, and styled. The receptionist on the phone was really nice, and told me I could actually pay for the services during my wifes appointment since I wasn't sure how much it would cost for her hair. I was quoted $25 for a gel manicure and $25 for a pedicure over the phone. My wife arrives this morning at her appointment time and sat down to get her nails done. Julie proceeds to put a thumb acrylic onto my wifes pinky nail. My wife asked her if she realized what she had done and Julie said it would work just fine. So my wife kindly got up and said she changed her mind about getting her nails done there as Julie was the only person there who could do nails. My wife went to the receptionist and told her Julie had no idea how to do nails and asked if she could go ahead and get her hair done. The receptionist took her to Lisa who asks my wife what she wants done. My wife said she wanted her roots done and her bob touched up. Lisa proceeds to rudely say "I can take care of you but I only have 20 mins to do it in so if you want more than 20 mins worth of work I will have to do it in 20 mins". My wife said that won't work because it will take more than 20 minutes to do her hair. So my wife asked to speak to a manager and Lisa told her there was no manager there at the time. So my wife asked who was in charge and Lisa says that the stylists are all in charge of themselves. Needless to say my wife walked out and will be going elsewhere. To be fair to the salon they booked my wifes nail appointment at 12 and her hair at 2. So the stylist she was booked for was not there and would not be in until 2. That does not preclude Lisa being rude to my 8 month pregnant wife, nor employing a nail technician that doesn't do her job properly. Had my wife not been a stylist and nail technician herself, she probably would have been none the wiser. read more

When I made my appointment I specifically asked for a stylist that's good with layers. I have medium length, fine hair, which really needs layers to give it a boost. When I sat down with the stylist, Leisa, I told her that I had had a blunt cut for a while, but I'd like to go back to layers. I asked her to put in LONG layers, which I've had for almost all of my adult life, and take about an inch off the length. I wrongly figured that "long layers" was a general term that every stylist was familiar with--Haircutting 101. What I ended up with was a style that reminded me of Jennifer Aniston's cut when she was on "Friends." Remember, it was all the rage in the mid to late 90s. Well, even she doesn't wear it anymore, and I certainly don't want it. My hair looked horrible, and I was terribly upset about what I saw in the mirror. It looked like almost half of my hair had been chopped off, and I had this huge, thick top layer of hair that came up under my chin. When your hair sits past your collar bone in length, a layer that ends at your jaw is NOT a long layer. Also, the way she was drying my hair with the round brush belied her outdated style. Another reviewer said this salon is stuck in the 80s, and I agree. Not all of their stylists are up-to-date with the latest advancements in hair fashion. I wanted a cut that I was used to getting in my previous salon in Maryland: sophisticated and stylish. Instead I received a rerun of "Friends." Ugh. Later that afternoon I went in again so the manager, Karen, could attempt to fix her stylist's blunder. She did blend that heavy top layer, but with my hair already having been hacked so short (it now sits on top of my shoulders), there was little she could do other than that. I still hate it. Every time I look in the mirror I hate it. What I have now doesn't look sophisticated; it looks like tpt. It will take until Christmas, at least, for this to grow out enough to be able to cut it properly, which really stinks. I'll never step back into this salon. Another reviewer mentioned inconsistency as a problem. I believe it. Leisa is certainly stuck in the 20th century with her styles, and I don't want to risk trying someone else. I'll drive back to my old stylist in Maryland. The only positives I can say are that the manager made an attempt to fix it, and they didn't charge me for the cut. read more

Very inconsistent. I've gone three times in a year and have asked for the exact same thing each time, and not only has my hair always been different every time but the prices were too. They are outrageous. I only ever get trims. No layers. No dying. Also, they charge extra to have your hair dried. What kind of salon allows customers to walk out with wet hair? I wish I could love this place but I just can't. The prices are insane (not just for this area, but for any area in the country), the services are sub-par and the few people I have worked with haven't been very professional. I was stunned when a brow wax was 20.00 (I ended up fixing it later once I returned home which made the price sting even more). I won't return here in any case since I'm more than positive I can get the same services at cheaper and better establishments.
