I had a lovely experience at Bellagio. This was my first visit. I called ahead to make my appointment and they had me seated right on time (I showed up at my apt time). Helen was absolutely amazing!! I got a Spring Pedicure ($40)- 10/10 recommend the Vanilla Cappuccino scrub! (Made me want an iced coffee). I also got a dipping powder manicure ($55) and cleaned up my brows ($12). I've been to this salon a few times and both times I ended up with greenies. First time wasn't too bad because it was just on the surface so buffing got it off. After a year or so gave this salon a second chance and this time around it's pretty bad so never again. I've been doing my nails 8+yrs consistently (no breaks) so I know when it's time for a new set. The tech did a great job & she's very nice hence the (initial set September, refill October and November by same tech, found greenies in December by different tech at different salon). This means moisture was trapped underneath for a while and the parts that were lifting should have been fixed before applying new gel powder on top. It's unfortunate at my appointment I'll have to point out lifts that were even obvious. read more

However, it is sometimes difficult to get appointments with the best nail techs (Helen, Jack, Mindy)...Also, wish they would offer to schedule nails first then pedicure (more relaxing that way). I debated leaving this review, because I hate leaving negative reviews, honestly my nails were poorly done. I went on a Saturday morning - no appointments on weekends so I tried to arrive close to opening. I arrived at 10:20 AM and asked for a full set. They were already busy, so I was informed it would a 25-35 minute wait. No problem as I expected this. I decided to wait in my car, and went back in the salon around 23 minutes. I was promptly taken back to a work station -- for this they earned one star. The salon is very clean and everyone was kind to me. There are also ample color selections. For this they earned another star. My issue with the salon is the quality of my nails. I felt as if my appointment was very rushed. Several nails were put on crooked and if I had not said anything, he wouldn't have fixed them. There are air bubbles in the polish. The nails are very chunky and not the shape I asked for. I realized they were not getting any better even with "corrections" so I eventually just left - unsatisfied. To top it off, my nails began lifting just 2-3 days after my appointment TLDR: The salon is very clean, ample color selection and the staff were kind, but my nails were subpar. read more

Update: I just walked out at 2:52. Waited an hour to be seen and was not provided any service. They just kept telling me to hold on. The girl in the front who told us to come in at 2 just says "sorry about that" and nothing more. We are not coming back here again. We called this morning and the front desk told us to come in at 2 for pedicures. It's 2:46 and still waiting to be seen because they're full. There are 3 of us together and we have to sit separated. He works with me and even gives me ideas on what to do. GO HERE. Customer service is always on point with me. Yes sometimes there is a wait if you do not have an appointment, however; if you do I recommend coming in at least 10 minutes before. If you are late, call them and let them know because if you are late and you do not call they will not wait. They have a business to run and will take each customer that walks in. This is my first time at Bellagio Nails & Spa and the service here is wonderful. My nail tech is Lan, and she is so professional and talented. She gave me some recommendations for my nails design and I really love it. This is also my first time ever to try Ombre. It is simple but require much experience and techniques. I also have eyebrow waxed and french gel pedicure done by Lan. Everything is perfect. The interior is clean, the staff are friendly, and there is good vibes. PLEEEEEAAAAASE SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! I've made an appointment every single time I've come here and EVERY SINGLE TIME I've waited 45+ minutes. I don't understand their appointment process but to me - if I've scheduled an appt for 3pm , you shouldn't be taking any walk-ins at 2:50pm when you're short staffed. My appointment time is contingent upon when YOU tell me you're available. Don't continue to tell me time and time again that you have availability and you don't. I'm more than happy to schedule for a different day instead of spending all day in plastic chair waiting to be acknowledged. If you have time to kill, go for it. But my schedule doesn't allow for people to waste my time. You should never have to wait longer than 30 min for an appt. That's the same as a walk-in. If I had time for a walk in, I wouldn't have scheduled an appointment. These people are ridiculous and have poor management skills. This was my first experience at Bellagio Nails & Spa. I always call before I try new places and the receptionist who answered the phone was extremely polite and answered all my questions beforehand. Upon arriving, she greeted me and told me to sign in. I was pleasantly surprised they have Venmo/Cash App QR codes for when you need to tip but don't have cash on you. I was super grateful for that option. Furthermore, I was seated with nail technician, Jack. He was amazing! He had a lot of plenty of accommodations; stand for your phone and a stylus pen (during my soak off). I had 2-3 broken nails and he was super gentle. His attitude was also amazing because I am a pretty indecisive client. I had a few gems fall off due to being a little rough but the next day he fixed it. Good as new. I hate leaving negative reviews, and I had such a good experience here my last time, but this one was awful. To begin, I asked for a specific OPI color. I like OPI and I feel like I've had better luck with it lasting. It was a pretty solid looking white, but I made it clear I wanted enough coats so it wasn't sheer at all. She told me it would still be sheer so I asked if I could do a more solid white as a base and do a top coat with the color I liked so it had a little more shine/glaze look to it. She said no, all I could do is plain white. That didn't seem like a difficult request, as I've done that at multiple places and I did it with Kayla on my last visit, but she just flat out said no, it could only be plain white with a clear top coat to make it shiny. I wanted white and it was clear I wasn't getting anywhere, so I finally just had to accept her answer. I paid for an upgraded pedicure and it felt less than basic. The water was cold and the sugar scrub/massage felt more like someone throwing some lotion on my leg. When using the hot towels, instead of getting two, she put one on one leg/hand and then proceeded to put the same one on my other leg/hand after she put lotion on so it was cold by the time my second leg/hand got it. The polishing was the worst part and was painful. There kept being uneven strokes or jagged edges or areas that she missed and while she was polite about correctly them, I would have been correcting her the whole time if I pointed out all the issues. Her strokes had minimal nail polish and were all over the place, making the edges come out jagged, bubbled, and some already look chipped. Some edges were so far off my cuticle, it looks like a two week old mani/pedi and others are overlapping my cuticle and I can't even fix my hands because it's gel and it'll ruin the rest of the polish!!! She also missed a good part of a few of my nails and while I asked for squared nails, some she squared and some she rounded (on the same nail) and a large amount of them are insanely crooked!!! The gel nail polish also wasn't setting correctly after she put the first coat on and was almost disintegrating and she laughed and said she'd never seen that happen (another reason why I prefer OPI), and instead of getting a different bottle, she kept trying it over and over again, putting another base coat over the crappy color coat that clearly wasn't adhering and then jumping from nail to nail. They all got random spotty coats and she was like, I think they're okay. OKAY?!? If I wanted okay, I'd save myself some money and do them myself. Super frustrated. Side note: my first time here, I had a similar experience and posted a review and the manager responded back to it and for some reason, it's linking to this review. To be clear, no one has contacted me about this experience. read more

I recently attempted to make an appointment for a pedicure on a Saturday and was told, they no longer take appointments on weekends. That was strike one. I recently made an appointment for 4:30 on a weekday for a pedicure and a new set. I was called back for the pedicure at 5pm and was soaking for a good 10 min prior to someone coming over. Strike 2! Needless to say, I did not get the new set since my time is just as valuable. There is a new shop opening soon on Opitz and I am pretty sure they will take appointments like every other nail shop in the area.
