Father sent Jimmy to measure our driveway, and he measured to the main road as asked. We had to leave town and a live in family member was here who let me know the crew was not doing the job we'd asked (she was there when it was measured). Father denied any mistake on their part, we compromised. Within a month grass was coming up through the reclaim. We had to have everything redone by another company. These guys have trespassed twice down my 900 foot dirt driveway and say they're "doing a commercial job" in the area and can give me a great deal on reclaimed asphalt. They were operating out of a run down property on Route 302 in Naples but the sign is gone now. They drive a pickup truck with ladder racks and a small white service van with Sacuzzo Asphalt on the side. I do not recommend them. No star rating. read more

Had a sealcoating job done a year ago. They scheduled it even though rain was forecast within 24 hours. Stayed off the driveway for a week. When I contacted the son Jimmy about the quality of the job, he said he would come look and redo if needed. Said that maybe it was a bad batch of sealant. Then he asked that I send pictures instead. I insisted that the sealer had been washed away in places. He stated that the sealer looked thin in places because "that's normal". Refused to come back to check in person. Then he stated he would come out in the spring and assess the quality of the sealer. When I reached out to him again in late spring, he once again refused to come out. I showed him the pictures and video from the previous fall. Once again he stated, "Not to be rude but that what sealer looks like after a winter! The pics were from the FALL! Poor customer service with just a lot of excuses! I would not recommend them at least for driveway sealing jobs! read more

They ripped us off for about $500. Said he was doing us a "favor" by making the "pad" 20X20 instead of the 18x29 we asked for. Then CHARGED us for the materials for something we didn't tell him to do. THEN we measured it and it is actually 17x19.........UNDER WHAT WE ACTUALLY WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THEN PAID FOR MORE THAN WE ASKIED FOR!!!! It's mind boggling! Not the best, stopped by unannounced and indicated they were working the area, could they quote me. I agreed, came back with a quote for my driveway, seemed fair. Started job, seemed to be two bosses, the nephew and uncle. Uncle constantly complaining about employees while smoking in my face. Employees did not observe any OSHA rules, no hearing protection, no eye protection, no steel toes shoes, very unsafe. Job seemed to go okay, uncle did hit me up for additional money, indicated they had underestimated job. I refused. My neighbor indicated they had done the same to him. Time will tell but I am a little nervous, asphalt already seems to be weak in less than a week. I should have done my homework. Another scam ???? I am an 81 yo Great-grandmother who's 9 yr old great-grandson suddenly lost his dad this spring. I thought a basketball court in his back yard would help relieve some of his grief and stress. I contacted 3 businesses and choose Sacuzzo as he seemed so genuine and eager to help. His bid was the highest but he assured me he would "take care of me". On a hand shake and nothing more, I gave him the job. After several delays, he put it in and said he made it bigger than we agreed on and he would "only" charge me for the materials to make it bigger. We had agreed on a 18 x 20 and I paid him cash and again shook his hand. I measured it after he left and it was actually 17 x 18. I called Mr. Sacuzzo but could not get through. I wrote a letter and requested he go by and measure the court himself but I never heard back from him. I have always trusted people at their word and am so disappointed in Jim Sacuzzo. I, since, have read other reviews to find he is not a man of his word and don't bother taking him to court as the line is too long. I am not interested in doing that but just want to be treated as I would treat others. He is NOT a man of his word! I give him one star for cheating and not making an effort to correct the situation.
