She arrived early with her two helpers to make sure she had time to set up before the guests arrived. She was very patient and knowledgable while trying to teach all of us how to paint our masterpieces. She and her staff were attentive to our needs and made it a fun experience for all. I found that any age from toddlers on up can participate and have fun painting. She even managed to console a 5 year old that was a little upset that her painting wasn't quite coming out like hers and gave her a clean canvas to paint a cat on which is one of her favorite animals and it was all good. If you want to change up the colors on the picture, that's definitely allowed and they'll give you a different paint palette so you can achieve that! The hand made art and craft in the store ranges from soap, jewelry, paintings, prints, sculptures, photography, fabric art, paper art clothings, and much more. We were very lucky to have the chance to chat with the bright minded founder (one of 2) of this art and craft collective. She was so lovely and passionate with what she is doing and I have no doubt that even more wonderful things are going happen here. I expect this to be the hub of the art/ craft (and soon music) scene in Gananoque in the up coming years.
