Our new mattress was delivered, but the crew refused to take our old mattress and foundation, contrary to what Tarik had told us would happen when we purchased the new set. The installation crew leader was rude, unprofessionally dressed in pajama pants and driving a rental truck, and told us that they could not put the old mattress with into their truck because it had slight staining. He indicated that they were a subcontractor to the store and not employees. You had to look very hard to find a small sweat stain on the mattress, which was their excuse. To make things worse, he then said that they couldn't dispose of the foundation because they only take complete sets of mattresses and foundations. He said that they donate the used mattress to churches, but nothing of this nature was mentioned when we purchased the mattress. Our 12 year old mattress was quite worn out and I can't imaging anyone wanting it - it is ready for the landfill. Basically, we feel that we were lied to by Tarik. Should anything happen that requires a warranty, I no longer trust this store, as my gut feel is they would shirk their responsibility or tell us more lies. We were shopping for two mattresses, but I can tell you that the second certainly won't be purchased from this store.

Warehouse isn't huge by any means and we were in to get a few twin beds for kids. It was easy to narrow down a choice among the selections they had. The salesman helping us (i wish i could remember his name right now) was laid back, very non-pushy, maybe to the extent you wonder if he wants you to stick around or just leave. He offered the step up mattress at the lower mattress price. Nice deal. We ordered and were told they'd be in that week. We planned to come back Sunday to get them on our way back from vacation. We were coming back from out of state and realized we weren't making it in time. I thought there was no way we should ask the salesman to stay, but my husband called and he told my husband no problem. In the end we were almost an hour past closing time and sure enough he was there waiting. He had no problem letting a couple of our kids come in to use the restroom. My husband tried to tip him but he declined, and asked we write a review if we were pleased. It's been a few months (about 5 now) and the kids still like their mattresses. No issues at all with them. I will definitely plan to return when we need another bed! So the warehouse might look a little run down and crammed, and the restroom even worse, but the customer service and product has been excellent! BUYER BEWARE RUNYON'S FLOORING AND FURNITURE in MONROE, MI…read more I am proud to say that I grew up in Monroe County. I always urge people to work with small businesses especially when they are local. I have contemplated posting this for a long time, but if sharing helps prevent even 1 person from going through what I did then this post is worth it. It was a truly traumatizing and emotionally draining experience that we went through with Runyon's. This is what you should keep in mind if you choose to do business with them. 1. They were not approved vendors/installers of the product that they had on display. (Runyon's purchased it from another store when we specifically asked if they were approved). 2. They did not follow the manufacture's specifications or complete proper job site preparation. (Resulting in damaged flooring.) 3. They ignored our calls to them for help. (We had an inspection done to figure out the cause of damage). 4. They refused to honor their warranty. (Even after an NWFA inspection indicated they were at fault). 5. We tried to file an insurance claim on their business insurance. They did not carry the correct coverage for "their work." (I hope they corrected this). 6. The engineer report from the insurance company also indicated they were at fault. The claim was denied for lack of coverage. 7. Estimates to tear it out and fix the damage was twice as much as we initially paid. 8. They ignored us again, so we filed a credit card dispute to get our money back. 9. They called us names, screamed at us, told us to "shut up." 10. They called our work and personal phones numerous times. (Once the credit card took the money back from them for failure to resolve the damages). 11. Their threat/solution for us was to "come to rip the floor out and put it into their rental homes" but not to repair it or replace it. (Expecting to still be paid for this work). 12. You may have to take them to court. (Runyon's may threaten that this is your only option). 13. They will leave you with floors that look like the photos attached.... This is what we went through with them, in our new home, when I was pregnant. They didn't care about us until the money was taken back from them for failure to correct the issue. Once they did not have the money for their work, they took a very aggressive approach. I have photos, reports, and recordings to prove all the above statements, but I do not feel it is necessary to post currently. Some people may have had a good experience with them. Certain members of their staff are helpful/nice. The OWNERS were the people taking this approach. Overall, thinking about how they treated us and potentially other people in the future makes me sick. *Owner never paid the money owed from small claims court. Had to take additional action... still an ongoing and unresolved issue for nearly a year.

With the motion adjustable riser frame, he showed us how it can alleviate those pressure points so much more than just a flat bed or thinking this is a splurge to watch tv. The adjustable riser frame will fit in my vintage sleigh bed and not harm my little dog who sleeps under us every night.
